The Trust is responsible for providing and operating a village hall and playing field for the benefit of the people of Stogursey and the local area.

We are a Foodbank and hold the Trussell Trust franchise for Bridgwater. We issue our Red Vouchers to 39 agencies in and around Bridgwater the CAB, Housing Associations, Social Services, Primary Schools, Salvation Army etc etc.If the holders see a family in need they offer the person in crisis one of our Red Vouchers, they then bring the voucher to us and we give food in exchange.

Religious, cultural and pastoral

Directly or via the support of other Charitable Bodies to advance in life and relieve the needs of young people up to the age 21 years who are resident in the County of Somerset and particularly but not exclusively living in the locality of St Andrew's Church Congresbury.

To undertake various fund raising activities to provide support & help for local good causes

The charity makes grants to organisations and individuals that that meet its core criteria of promoting social inclusion and good physical and mental health among young people in Dorset and the surrounding areas.

Playgroup

Rescue, rehabilitate & rehome stray, abandoned, mistreated & unwanted cats & kittens.

The village hall comprises internally 3 halls, stage, kitchen and toilets, and externally an annexe, a childrens play park, playing field and car park. The internal facilities and annexe are hired to a wide range of regular user groups, and also to individuals and organisations for concerts, meetings, parties and wedding receptions. The external facilities are available to all at no charge.

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by offering appropriate play, education and care facilities.

Provide supported contact facilities for parents and children

COACH is a charity set up to build and run a community activity, education and sports hub for the benefit of those in and around Taunton.

The charity provides support to a cardiac rehabilitation programme, including exercise classes and counselling services, for all cardiac patients in the catchment area of Yeovil District Hospital. Fundraising events and private donations enable the charity to maintain and replace gym equipment for the rehabilitation unit and and to fund specialist training for the cardiac staff at YDH.

Payments of grants to individuals and organisations within the community.

The church holds services for public worship and Christian teaching at its premises in Parkhouse Road, Minehead, usually twice each Sunday. There are also midweek meetings for bible study and prayer, and social gatherings for all ages.

HALL HIRE VENUE

For the purpose of furthering the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England amongst members and former members of the Armed Forces of the Crown.

Running St Michael's swimming pool and raising funds to support pool initiatives.

We provide regular religious services, including services for young people. Support for families with children. Activities during the year for young people. Lunch club for elderly and those living alone in the community. Facilitate Alcombe Food Cupboard which supports families and individuals in need. Regular fund raising events for local, national and global mission.

A not-for-profit cat rescue group run by volunteers. We rescue and, if possible, re-home ill-treated and unwanted domestic and feral cats and kittens, and those who are elderly, with special needs and FIV+. We are a "no kill" organisation and if a cat is unhomeable due to age, temperament or health condition we keep that cat in care for the duration of its life.

Supporting and promoting the musical culture of the local community via singing.

The Charity owns and manages a former Parish Church that stands within its own Churchyard. The main activity of the Charity is the generation of sufficient income from weddings and other services or events at St. Margaret's Church, Babington to maintain the property and grounds in a good state of repair.

The aim of the Charity is to promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world. Somerset County is composed of 10 Divisions. Each of these has numerous units. Weekly guiding activities, camps, crafts and sporting events take place at all levels.
