Manage a community village hall

The Milborne Port Village Hall Trust provides Fully Licensed Halls that are available to all local people & organisations as economically as possible but at the same time keeping the hall financially sound. Activities that use the Hall are: U3A , Short Mat Bowls, Gardeners Club, Badminton, Keep Fit, Moviola, Dog training, Bingo, Parties, Opera, Entertainment, Weddings, Elections, Dinners, .

Advancing the Christian faith in Taunton for the benefit of the public by appointing chaplains to provide pastoral care, evangelistic witness and prayer in workplaces, shops, public areas and elsewhere.

The Trust is established to provide, or assist in the provision of, for the inhabitants of the Parishes of Seavington St Mary and Seavington St Michael facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare, with object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The provision of a village hall for classes, recreation and entertainment for the inhabitants of Tatworth and Forton and surrounding area

The charity operates the village hall for the benefit of the community. The hall is available for hire.

To promote advancement and general education in relation to all aspects of drama and the development of public appreciation of such art by giving performances in Somerset West and Taunton.

Support and Assistance to men suffering from prostate problems.Education of the public on the subject of prostate cancer.To bring to the attention of men the value of a PSA test as an indication of the early stage of prostate cancer.To provide information and support on the treatments available.

Provision of low cost housing for the elderly

Recreation ground, playing field and community centre for inhabitants of Camerton parish and neighbourhood. Facilities for physical exercise, training, meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of leisure-time acitvities as the committee see fit, with the object of improving quality of life for the said inhabitants.

Provision of a venue (Village Hall) for activities within the Parish of West Camel

Maybe provides mental health support for members of the public who are experiencing mental health needs not met by statutory services and unable to access therapy due to sufficient financial means.

The Society organises a series of concerts in the last week of July in each year and sometimes in the winter to raise funds for the July week. We have our own visiting orchestra and chamber group and also arrange a recital given by a talented local young performer.

Management of Village Hall

To promote the dramatic arts for the public benefit by producing high quality productions of plays from the Jacobean period and to advance education in all aspects of the performing arts,in particular but not exclusively for young people.Currently ,once a year, for one week we perform an outdoor production of Shakespeare at Lackham House Lacock Wiltshire.

The charity exists to prevent or relieve food poverty and need in Glastonbury and the surrounding BA6 and BA16 postcode area, mainly through the provision of emergency food parcels and other necessary items. Working with referral agencies, we aim to provide an individual or family with non-perishable and fresh food for a balanced diet for approximately a week.

ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AT ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT IN ZAMBIA OR SUB SAHARAN AFRICA BY PROVIDING FUNDING AND ADVICE, THUS ENABLING THEM TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. PROMOTING HEALTH AWARENESS AND SOCIAL CARE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES AND DEVELOP CHRISTIAN VALUES.

General Charitable Purposes, primarily in Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire

As a church we hold services twice on a Sunday, both morning and evening. We also hold a weekly Bible Study every Tuesday night. There is two youths group meeting every Wednesday. Every Wednesday we hold a coffee morning.

Positive AIMs offer a quality education and leisure service that can respond to community objectives, enriching and enhancing the lives of local individuals facing daily challenges.

To educate the public in the performance & appreciation of choral singing by concerts, at least three per year.

The charity makes grants to specific charities named in the trust deed. Grants are not made to other bodies.

To provide bursaries and awards to the sons and daughters of farmers or farm workers or students who can demonstrate commitment to the dairy industry and show aptitude to add value to the industry in Cornwall, Devon Somerset and Dorset who are to study a dairy-related topic at tertiary level, or equivalent.
