We maintain and where necessary improve the property (farm land and dwelling) that constitute the charity's permanent endowment, then distribute an equal sum to each of the three parishes as required by the governing document; they in turn distrubute the money within their parish.

The Friends of Bishop Henderson School are a group of volunteers (both parents and teachers) who organise activities/events to raise funds, which provide grants to the school for spending on purchasing equipment & facilities to advance the education of our children.

Bleadon WI is a branch of the national womens institute in the UK. We are based in the village of Bleadon, Somerset and meet monthly to provide friendship, support, learning to Women The WI plays an unique role in providing women with education, build new skills, take part in activities and campaign on issues. We occasionally fund raise for local charities in line with the constitution

Providing Housing for elderly ladies

Old Cleeve Memorial Cottages are a Registered Charity. The object of the Charity is to provide accommodation for those in need, dwelling in Old Cleeve, Chapel Cleeve and Bilbrook, and also further within Old Cleeve parish if necessary. There are seven Trustees who are responsible for the upkeep of the properties, and allocation of units as they become vacant, in accordance with the Trust Deed.

Responsible for the running and maintenance of the playing field and community centre, known as Appley Pavilion

Glastonbury & Street Lions Club (CIO) provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the area. The Club also donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals.

Organisation of the annual Street Fair in Milverton as part of the Milverton Festival which takes place on the first May Bank Holiday and other fundraising events during the year. Proceeds are used to support a variety of good causes within the village and surrounding area including the development of the village web site, www.milverton.org.uk

Provision of playing/game facilities at Parkerfield Playing Field and Memorial Playing Field, North Petherton, Somerset.

In accordance with the trust deed the charity provides a 'Non-Sectarian and non-political meeting place for recreation and social intercourse for the benefit of the inhabitants of Chiselborough and of the surrounding district'.

Provision and maintenance of a Parish Hall for use by the local community for recreational, educational and sporting activities

Three successful concerts: Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle 11 May, Songs and Sonnets from Shakespeare 11 July (part of The Frome Festival) and our Christmas concert 14 December included Haydn Little Organ Mass, Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons and Vaughan Williams Fantasia on Christmas Carols. We continue to provide discounts to those on low incomes and free subs/tickets to under 18's.

The purposes of the JP TODD BEQUEST and the SECOND POOR CHARITY, incorporated together as the Axbridge Parochial Charities, make donations to individuals and community projects within the town of Axbridge. These are for educational and social projects.

The Collegium Singers (formally Taunton Camerata) is a chamber choir based in Taunton, Somerset Our aim is to give public concerts & workshops that improve, develop & maintain public education in the art & science of choral music. The choir numbers 25, is open to all subject to audition and gives 4-6 concerts a year in Somerset & surrounding counties, many supporting charitable causes.

Provide a venue for local institutions, societies and clubs to meet and to be a social centre for the village and surrounding area

The PTFA is the Parent, Teachers and Friends Association. This is a voluntary group of people who run a number of events throughout the school year, both for fun, and to raise additional funds for Long Sutton CE School.

The Trust assists a wide variety of organisations, financing the cost from personal contributions, donations and fund raising activities
