Makes grants to individuals in need, hardship or distress who live in Edington or neighbourhood. May make general grants for the benefit of residents of Edington or neighbourhood.

General charitable purposes.

For the public benefit to maintain and preserve the fabric of St John the Baptist Church, Glastonbury both inside and out.

A Rural Youth movement for young people aged 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised Skills in Public Speaking, Sports Competitions, Drama and Entertainments, Stockjudging and Stockshowing/Presentation, Dancing, Duke of Edingburgh, meetings and social events, Fundraising.

For the benefit of the community to assist people in South West England whose animals are missing by searching and coordinating people and resources.To catch stray animals, scan for a microchip and reunite with owner where possible, To assist other organisations if help is requested.

Running a Christian Ministry

Providing activities and opportunities for the children of the school to enrich their learning while at the school.

Provides small grants to the "Foundation Schools" (First schools of Cutcombe and Timberscombe) and small grants to children and young people in the wider West Somerset area for the purposes of education and training.

Southern Union Chorus promotes and encourages the singing of four-part male-voice harmony in the Barbershop style. We aim to advance, improve, devlop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of the art of Barbershop singing. Income from public Sing-Outs provides donations to deserving Charities. We run annually a free 'Learn to Sing" course open to male members of the general public.

Organising early music activities for amateur musicians throughout the south west region.

We are a PTFA made up of parents, teaching staff and friends raising funds for our local primary school. We run fundraising events to help purchase items to benefit the current and future children of the school. The activities that we run are held on the school grounds or within the local community.

ACTIVITES INCLUDE ORGANISING A SUMMER FAYRE AND A CHRISTMAS FAYRE. WE ARRANGE DISCOS FOR THE CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY READING AFTERNOONS. WE MAKE DONATIONS TOWARDS THE NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL INCLUDING PLAY EQUIPMENT, READING BOOKS AND I.T. WE ALSO MAKE DONATIONS TOWARDS CLASS TRIPS.

We work to our Constitution and provide fundraising for our charity - school - and allocate funds to the school by elected Committee.

The Trust provides financial grants to Long Sutton Primary School in the county of Somerset to supplement the support provided by the Local Authority or State, with the purpose of:1/ improving the educational facilities at the school, eg fabric of the buildings, furniture, IT equipment etc..2/ improving the educational resources3/ provide extra-curricular activities

Church Meetings and Social Activities.

Sport, Leisure and Social activities for all ages in our parish, including sports sessions for local Primary School, Pre-school, Adult and Youth football teams; Pigeon Racing Club activities, Informal use: younger children's play area, MUGA, junior football net, fitness trail, dog walking, picnics and other informal activitiesOccasional events, e.g. Annual Village Day, Annual Cake Race Day

The advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of obedience, reverence, discipline, self-respect and all that tends towards a true christian manliness.

Providing women in Chipping Sodbury, Yate and surrounding areas with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their local community.

We support local families and individuals facing financial hardship. We ask the local community for donations of food and household items which we give to individuals and families that have been identified through schools, referrals and local services. All donations are sorted through and distributed from the trustee homes.

Recreational ground for the use and enjoyment of the public and managing the Bishop's Barn as a community venue
