The Charity accepts donations of non-perishable food from members of the public directly or via supermarket collections. These donations are weighed and sorted into food-types then checked for end dates and stored.Referral Agencies make referral for those in urgent need of food-support to visit the foodbank distribution centrewhere they are given 3-days worth of emergency food.

Pucklechurch Playgroup is an Ofsted-approved community based Playgroup, providing sessional care for children aged between 2 and 5.

Open Christian worship services in the city of Bristol

Using golf as a mechanism in the development of young people who have experienced adversity and trauma and to support them in building resilience for the future, improving mental and physical health. We use The Kendleshire Golf Club facilities working in partnership with our golf professionals and mentoring partner Strive Youth Engagement using a person-centred trauma responsive approach.

As the District Body for the Midlands, the MUA INC suppoerts the member congregations by making grants and offering advice and training.

Thornbury & District League of Friends will give grants to organisations in Thornbury and surrounding parishes, who work with people with health-related and wellbeing needs, diagnosed or otherwise, where such assistance is not typically provided through the NHS.

The SWGP provides a Ministry Training Course based at St Bart's Church, Bath. This one or two year course aims to equip those who want to be able to teach the Bible and serve in ministry more effectively. The SWGP also co-ordinates a number of other events throughout the year, including the Bristol Men's Convention, Bible teaching and training days and youth-oriented events.

THE FUND DISTRIBUTES GRANTS TO LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECTS SEEKING TO REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS OR TACKLE FUEL POVERTY IN THE DEFINED AREAS. APPLICATIONS FROM PROJECTS IN THE VICINITY OF BATH & WEST COMMUNITY ENERGY (BWCE) PROJECTS ARE PARTICULARLY WELCOME. BWCE DONATES ITS SURPLUS PROFITS TO THE FUND, GENERATED FROM THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS COMMUNITY OWNED RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS.

Youth theatre - young people practice and perform musical theatre.

We pick-up unwanted furniture and household items from the general public which would otherwise go to landfill and sell them on at a reasonable price to the general public.

Our mission is to work in partnership to combat poverty and promote social justice by improving the quality & provision of free, independent advice.ACFA supports advice agencies based in and around Bristol who provide free, independent and confidential advice services. Individually and collectively, ACFA members will be more effective and efficient in order to provide great advice services

Provides musical performances to the public and supports other charitable organisations in fund raising events. Offers the opportunity for any adult to learn to play a wind instrument in a band environment or invites people who have not played a wind instrument for many years to return to music. The charity is sometimes able to provide wind instruments on loan.

The Charity provides affordable homes for elderly people

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefits of inhabitants of Bristol and South Gloucestershire, by the provision and maintenance of facilities and coaching for playing tennis. Tennis is played outdoors, and a skill which can be played at all ages and abilities.

The focus of our activities is to provide a programme of positive activities for the young people aged between 10 and 18 years in our rural village of Wickwar. This benefits the young people by developing their self confidence, social and life skills. We welcome all young people regardless of background, faith, gender or personal circumstances and seek to develop a tolerant inclusive community.

Thornbury Area youth Music provide group music making opportunities for the young people of Thornbury and surrounding areas.

Activities include the practice and proclamation of the Christian faith through corporate worship and preaching. Prayer and study in small groups. Visiting and caring for the elderly, sick and those in need. Christian education of children through family activities and school assemblies. Financial support of other Christian charities that bring relief to those in need in this country and overseas.

Bath Opera advances the education and appreciation of opera for public benefit. It presents an annual fully staged opera and a summer tour of smaller-scale performances, increasing access in Bath and surrounding areas. It also supports emerging singers through the Bath Opera Young Artists Development Scheme (BOYADS).

To instill HOPE and inspire young people to overcome the ever-changing challenges they face and make life enhancing choices by fostering resilience so enabling them to reach their full potential, to make positive life choices and to take their PLACE in their school, community and the wider world.

The declared objectives of the Society are to promote science and art through photography and in particular:1. To arrange lectures and demonstrations2. To promote and sponsor competitions and exhibitions3. To maintain a permanent collection of the outstanding work of members

The charity exists to maintain and improve the physical and mental wellbeing of the residents of Pucklechurch and surrounding areas. The charity operates and maintains the village hall to provide a range of activities including playgroup, short mat bowls, amateur dramatics, gardening club, folk dance, badminton, dog training, Zumba, fitness training , and others.

Our aim is to encourage young physically and/or sensory disabled people between the ages of 16-25 yrs to build a social network of non-disabled friends through one to one buddying. We also encourage disabled youngsters to play a fuller role in their community through active participation in the running of the charity as well as taking part in and organising educational and group social activities.

U3A offers a programme of educational and leisure activities for retired people where members contribute their own experience, interests and enthusiasms actively, so that they learn from each other.
