The Yate Genieri Link works to advance the education of the general public, both in the UK and in Africa, and in Yate and Genieri in particular, by the provision of education and training in the fields of the environment and rural development and to seek sustainable improvements in living standards in Genieri. The Link also works to relieve poverty in Genieri and to improve health care facilities.

To raise funds for school, via fairs, discos, bbqs, pamper nights, quizzes and cake/sweet sales

Teaches young members about the countryside, enviroment and agriculture, through talks visits and competitions. Meetings take place once a week. Club does much for the local community and fundraises for itself as well as many other charities.

To promote, improve, develop & maintain public appreciation of jazz, blues and similar genres of music by a) the presentation of high quality artists in festival format in the city of Bristol & further afield when necessary, and b) by such other means at the Trustees discretion cooperating with like minded organisations.

This Charity manages the both the use of the public facilities available for hire at Pilning Village Hall and Playing Field and the funds received as income from that hire as well as any funds received as grants. It is responsible for the maintenance of the premises and to Pilning and Severn Beach Parish Council.

The Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association, founded in 1926, provides small grants and loans, technical advice and support to it's members - town & parish councils, sports clubs and other community organisations. The Association's aims are to help protect, improve and promote active use of parks, playgrounds and playing fields across the counties of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

Raising monies & funds for school.

General fund raising for St Barnabas C E Primary Schoool. Activities include a Summer Fair, a Christmas Fair and School Disco.

We are a volunteer parent run charity raising funds for the school to provide well used and much needed resource. Our aim is to enhance the experience and education of children at school whilst supporting families and wider community. We do this by organising fun events and workshops to allow us to provide financial support to school, families and children.

Hambrook Village Hall serves as a valuable community facility, open to residents of Hambrook, Bristol and the surrounding areas. The hall is available for a variety of uses, including indoor sports and fitness training, music band rehearsals, charity and society meetings, dance classes, church congregations, children's parties, and family gatherings.

Organisation of fundraising activities, for example, fayres, sales and social events for both parents and pupils. Grant monies to the school to improve and enhance the pupils learning and environment.

The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical , intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals and as responsible citizens. Activities include arts and crafts, challenges such as orienteering, educational visits, camps, as well as group activities such as parties and family events

Scouting Activities - Fun - Games - Adventure - Caring - Community.We believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 19th Kingswood 1st Warmley Scout Group give young people in our local area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Raise money to provide school equipment which will improve the pupils' learning environment.

The charity owns and manages the Village Playing Field. The facilities on the field include the Village Hall, Pavilion with shed and a Toddler's play area. There is also one all weather tennis court as well as a football and cricket pitch.

RAISING FUNDS FOR THE ANCILARY ITEMS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AT CHARBOROUGH ROAD SCHOOL. THIS IS CARRIED OUT WITH THE SUPPORT OF MANY OF THE LOCAL BUSINESSES IN THE GREATER BRISTOL AREA.

The fabric of the Church.

The promotion of improved driving standards coupled with an increased awareness of road safety. The Group conducts courses for drivers wishing to improve their driving in preparation of the Advanced Tests by the IAM RoadSmart. These courses consist of classroom sessions, together with practical on-road driving guidance given by the Group's voluntary Observers.

The rescue and the preservation of life of persons injured or stranded underground and to assist other emergency services, including other cave rescue groups and mountain rescue teams.

Fundraising activities held during the year included social events such as a fun run, ball, and pledge auction.

The aims and objectives of the Avon Squash & Racketball are set out in our constitution and our activities include the running of county leagues, the participation in Inter-County Squash & Squash 57, the running of county championships, coaching across all gender and age ranges. We are open to all. We are affiliated to England Squash, the UK governing body for the sport.
