Momentum is a charity that provides and facilitates accessible fitness sessions for local people across Hampshire.We aim to break down and overcome the barriers which prevent some individuals and groups in our community from being physically active. Our work supports everyone to experience the wide range of benefits from participating in exercise.

Scouts are doers and give it a go ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.Every week we give almost half a million 4-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech

We hold regular bible studies and prayer meetings throughout the week and also message meeting on Sunday.

Religious meetings for worship, prayer, preaching of the Gospel and Bible Study and Sunday School for all the public to benefit. Free religious publications and teaching are distributed throughout Southampton, including home study courses. Pastoral care is given to the elderly and infirm and low rent flats are let to those of limited income. Other charitable causes are financially supported.

Scout Group

The charity's activities will include weekly religious worship services, prayer meetings, Bible study groups, Kids Club for local children aged 5-11, Youth Groups for young people aged 11-16, :Ladies Craft, Men's Breakfast, A weekly Community Club for friendship and a lunch, A food supply cupboard which provides food for those in need, and Community Fun Days for the local community.

The church carries out its purposes by:Getting together for various small groups in the week.Gathering twice a month for an all-age meeting involving food, fun, stories, craft, songs, discussion and activities (meeting locally).Getting involved in 'Love Thornhill' projects such as litter-picks and gardening work.Working with the local Baptist church to run a local youth group

Swaythling Neighbourhood Centre is a Charitable Incorporated Organisationformed to provide a place where activities can take place for people of all agesand abilities, and encourage Community cohesion. Swaythling NeighbourhoodCentre plans to offer evolving programs and services to encourage a wideparticipation to those within the community.

The Havant Orchestras aim to perform to the highest standards an extensive range of orchestral music.

KANGA aims at serving Kurdish Children and Youths (KCY), their families and the community in UK starting with our community, in the fields of Education, Arts, Culture, Entertainment and Welfare successively.KANGA runs Mother tongue (Kurdish) and artistic sessions at KANGA Children and Youth Centres (KCYC) and/or on line in the UK on weekly basis (32 weeks per annum).

WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE

Activities related to the advancement of Christian faith, especially the traditions and doctrines of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Hampshire, West Sussex and adjoining area of the south part of England. Charitable activities like relieving poverty and sickness for the benefit of the public.

Run the Lordswood Community Centre, Sandpiper Road, Lordswood, Southampton, SO16 8FD for the benefit of the community in and near Lordswood.

Southampton Action runs regular public appeals to collect items, particularly but not exclusively clothing, shoes, household items, toiletries and camping equipment. Volunteers sort the donated items, which are then packed and delivered to order to refugees and asylum seekers in Southampton and also delivers items to refugee organisations working outside of the UK.

The Sunbeam Children Trust objectives are to provide sponsorship towards education.

To support education and research in physiology within the University of Southampton by providing grants and studentships.

To supply safe stimulating play experiences for children aged 5 - 14 years old.

The aims of the society are to offer support to all families with deaf children, irrespective of level of deafness or method of communication. Provide social activities where deaf children and their families can meet with each other. To ensure that families of deaf children have access to information about education technology and services. To enhance the co-operation between branches of these various sciences and the health services. To assist with patient and staff welfare and for the provision of medical and ancillary equipment and facilities.
