The aims and objectives of the sea scout group are in accordance with the overall objectives of the international scouting organisation, namely to provide a safe environment in which young people can learn, develop useful skills enabling them to become socially competent and respectful of their own and other cultures whilst at the same time having fun and enjoyment from their pursuits.

Provision of facilities for School and University teachers to run one-day or two-day field courses that will introduce young people to subjects relevant to the minerals industry such as applied geology, metalliferous mining and mineral extraction. The Charity also hosts visits to the mine by local interest groups and by interested post-graduate departments of Universities. It encourages research.

Provide support and assistance to St Wulstan's Catholic Primary School.

Christmas concert (Festive Fayre) annually at the St Newman Centre, St Thomas of Canterbury RC Church, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton.February/March concert (Operetta or Gilbert and Sullivan or mixed programme) at Codsall Village Hall.July production (Operetta or Gilbert and Sullivan) at Codsall Village Hall.

Accomodation for the Elderly

During the year, the Charity provided a number of bursaries to assist local children in attending a local school.The Charity looked to grow its permanent endowment in order to be in a better position to increase its ability to achieve its charitable objectives.

The provision of buildings, facilities and open space for use by local and wider community for a range of recreation/sports and other activities. i.e. art/lace making/karate/dance/aerobics classes. Indoor bowls, tumble tots (pe for infants). WI/Towns Women's Guild, parish council. Police & community meetings. Parties/weddings etc. Conferences/exhibitions, polling station (elections).

Hire of hall for community organised activities such as celebrations, education, combating loneliness ,sport, various groups etc.

To raise funds for use by the school to enhance school-life for all students.

Provides building and resources and equipment for general scouting activities and training - including indoor activities, sailing, canoeing, camping, orienteering, hill walking etc, together with first aid and other badgework.

Picknalls PTA raises funds to benefit each and every child in the school through a variety of events such as Christmas and Summer Fayre, discos, film shows, tea parties, activity days, themed evenings, bring and buy sales in addition to raffles and sposnsored events.Funds are used to provide essential and supplementary educational resources as well as equipment for extra curricular activites.

Raising money for additional facilities and activities within school

The Association raises funds to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at St Michael's CE (C) Primary School, which are not normally provided for by the local education authority. There are many activities arranged by the PTA for the children and parents to enjoy whilst also raising much needed funds.

Cheadle Young Farmers is a rural youth organisation for anyone aged between 10 - 28 years. The objects of the Club shall be:-a) to advance the education of young members of the public at large in their knowledge of agriculture, crafts, life skills, rural affairs and country life,b) in the interests of the social welfare of such members to provide and promote the provision of facilities

The Richard Crosse PTA holds regular fundraising events to raise money to provide resources for the children of Richard Crosse Primary school

PROVIDING EDUCATION GRANTS TO SCHOOLS AND INDIVIDUALS RESIDENT IN THE WARD OF FOREBRDIGE IN STAFFORD, STAFFORDSHIRE

Parent / Teachers Association on behalf of St Lawrence Primary School. Organisation of fund raising activities (raffles, film nights, discos etc) primarily on school premises or adjacent village hall. Monies raised are granted back to the school for special items outside the budget of the school (coach trips, special equipment, water bottles, school bags etc).

To advance the Christian religion amongst deaf persons in the city of Wolverhampton and its surrounding hinterland: To relieve such persons in whatever manner is consistent with Christian principles and maintain facilities for recreation, education and of a social nature for people with all degrees of hearing loss.

The provision of a community centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Waterhouses, Staffordshire, and the neighbourhood and in particular use as a centre for the provision of facilities for young people.

As a primary school PTA, we run events like bake sales, sponsored reads and quiz nights for the school and local community to raise additional funds for the school. These funds are put towards additional resources and equipment to enhance the learning and opportunities of the children at the school.
