We provide a safe warm space for young people to attend and engage in an arrangement of activities including: leisure sports, crafts, social interaction and other activities that young people wish to participate in. We operate in the building Chesterton Vision Centre on specific days and times through out the week this delivered through dedicated volunteers.

Organise various fundraising events/activities throughout the year including a well supported Summer Fayre, family events such as chocolate bingo at Easter & Christmas. Host film nights, cake bakes, fashion show evenings etc. Run end of term events such as School Discos & Non-uniform days for all year groups. Offer pre-loved uniform rail throughout the year & seasonal item pop up swap shops.

Provide the police with an underground search and rescue service: DCRO is the closest organisation for the following police force areas - Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Cheshire (part), Derbyshire, Greater Manchester (part), Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, Staffordshire (part) and Warwickshire.

Providing coaches for school trips to enable the school to request less money to be paid by parents. Improvements to IT Suite.

We raise money to help worth while causes within our village- such as this year we donated towards Rolleston St. Mary's Church.

Our charity aim is;To promote community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit of the inhabitants of North Staffordshire, without distinction of age, sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by the provision of facilities for kickboxing.

Providing sporting opportunities for young people throughout the county of Staffordshire to enable them to compete in Track and Field and Cross Country at district, county and national level

Managing Trustees make grants, at their discretion, to selected TA Units based within the County of Stafford (including those Units in the geographical area of the former County of Stafford) and the Staffordshire Army Cadets Force for such charitable purposes as are calculated to further their miliotary efficiency by improving the facilities and amenities of training and service.

Producing concerts for the public.

Spreading the theory and practice of beekeeping to members, interested groups and members of the public in North Staffordshire. Informing the public of the importance of honeybees.

Supports Mary Howard Primary School in Edingale by raising money for items that the school may not otherwise be able to afford or to assist in paying for events for the children to attend to improve the diversity and interest of their day to day curriculum.

We raise funds for the children of Werrington Primary School. These funds are used for equipment for the school & educational trips for the children. Money is raised by such activities as fetes, bingo evenings, sales, bag to school etc.

Parklands Riding for the Disabled offers horse riding and animal therapies to anyone with a learning or physical disability or who struggles with mental health
