Making grants to individuals who have suffered injury or sickness as a result of their participation in the sport of Rugby Union within the area of benefit and the relief of those same persons and their dependants in necessitous circumstances.

General charitable purposes

The trustees meet at least twice yearly to consider grant applications for relief of sickness and preservation of health, relief of financial hardship and promotion of charitable purpose for the benefit of people resident in the area of benefit as the trustees think fit.

To acquire, carry on, maintain, support and/or offer assistance (including but not limited to financial assistance) to any school or any other establishment for the education of children.

To provide emergency medical assistance to the local community in conjunction with West Midlands Ambulance service.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF NEWCASTLE UNDER LYME AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR AMATEUR BOXING.

The Objectives of the Charity are: to preserve the Water Mill with all its propertiesTo preserve the equipment associated with the preparation of materials used in the Pottery IndustryTo provide facilities for the education of adults and young people helping them to understand these processes, the history of their development and to act as an educational resource.

The charity seeks to improve the lives of those who suffer with any and all aspects of chronic kidney disease and who are treated by or at the University Hospital of North Midlands Trust at locations in Stoke on Trent, County Hospital, Stafford and Leighton Hospital, Crewe.

To provide a Community Hall to hire out to local groups and people.

Members (often supported by friends and relatives) actively volunteer time, energy and expertese to organise, and ensure the success of, projects and fundraising activities. Supporting a wide range of local, national and international causes, in the process, many hundreds (if not thousands) of people receive help in the face of poverty, illness or illiteracy... disaster, disease or destitution.

To raise money, through a variety of social activities, for the benefit of the pupils and staff of the school

BDL provides opportunities for participation in the performance of drama to the community of the High Peak area. Participants can acquire new skills and develop their potential as performers, or in technical and 'back room' skills. BDL enhances the cultural life of the community, and brings the arts to as wide an audience as possible, enriching the experience of all involved.

The Women's Institute is a non sectarian, non party political organisation for women and girls. The main objectives are educational and we take part in campaigns on social issues.

Volunteer CFRs are trained by ambulance services to give aid in life threatening emergencies. They respond locally & often arrive in the vital first few minutes to preserve life before the ambulance which may be some distance away. Equipment such as a defibrillator & car have to be provided by the charity which fund raises to support the team & to give CPR & AED training to our local community.

Raise money to provide equipment and activities for young people with special needs.
