We are a fund raising charity with the sole purpose of helping to maintain the fabric, fixtures and fittings of the listed St Lawrence Church.

Fundraising for local school Academy including raffle, Christams fayre, Family night out and carnival stall.Small Lottery fund started Sept 2012,

Providing accomodation for social events, whist drives, judo, dog training and a field for small caravan rallies. Parking is available for ramblers and is often used by pigeon fanciers to release their birds.

The minibus driven by volunteers provides daily transport for the elderly & handicapped of Kinver village to various clubs and societies. It is used on Sunday to transport the elderly to church.

Education and learning through the local community.

Sporting activity with children

Provision of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hoar Cross with Newchurch in the county of Staffordshire and the surrounding locality without distinction of political, religious or other opinion, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for them.

The main activities of the church are regular, weekly Sunday church services which meet at 4:30pm at Darwin Community Hall, Lichfield, UK WS13 6RQ. We take an offering to help with the expenses of the hall hire, etc.. At these services we worship the God of the Bible, teach the Bible, pray and fellowship. We also hold smaller home group meetings on a weekly basis meeting in homes.

General Charitable purposes

Community Hub incorporating initially a Community Library for the Village and Parish of Gnosall Staffordshire, It's wider aim to include other activities currently being performed by other local bodies and to afford the benefits of CIO Status. Currently seeking to house the Library in a portable building on the Council's Grosvenor site (at Building Reg stage)

Our current activities are:- going out for lunch & going for Indian meals at night. Visits to the theatre, going for day trips, running a weekly prize bingo, club meetings twice a month.

Holding fundraising activities to provide vital funds for school and social events to support links between the school and the local community

School fund for a County First School

Group at present operates 2 x 12 seater vehicles with tail lift and wheelchair facilities. Vehicles are available to groups or individual needing transport to enable the mobility impaired, elderly and housebound of our area in South Staffordshire to attend Day Centres, Recreational Clubs andother activities.

Small amounts given to local charities.

Awards grants, on a means tested basis, to clergy in the Diocese of Worcester towards the cost of a holiday.

To raise funds from sponsorship and public donation by operating a Tree of Light project and other fundraising activities each year.

Provides indoor public lectures on geological topicsProvides field excursions of geological interestSupports local groups which provide geological experiencesProvides,free of charge, boxes of geological specimens to schools in order to give introduction to geology for pupils of all ages.Gives financial support to organisations providing geological information to the general public.

We purchase medical equipment to benefit patients of the Hartington Surgery

Provide help and support for housebound/isolated/disabled residents/old people in the area.

Raising funds and providing volunteer assistance for Cheadle Primary School in the Staffordshire Moorlands

Raise money for the benefit of the pupils and school and to build on parent/school relationships. The PTFA welcomes members from the parents, ex-parents and teaching staff and the wider community.

Beavers to Scouting Education Activities,Skills for Life.

Delegates from each of our 16 Guilds meet quarterly with the Executive Committee. We are a supportive group for women and hold various events during the year, eg, Games Day, Annual Lunch & Dinner, Crown Green Bowls and Quiz competitions (winners compete in Regional & National finals) and craft shows
