RAISES FUNDS THROUGH CHRISTMAS & SUMMER FAYRES & DISCOS TO NAME A FEW, TO FUND PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR USE WITHIN PRIMARY SCHOOL & FOR EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS OUTDOOR PLAY EQUIPMENT, TRIPS, COOKING & MATHS EQUIPMENT

The charity gives a small grant at Christmas to needy people within the Parish of Colwich.

The Trust's purpose is to facilitate the placement of young adult volunteers from Lichfield diocese into one of our companion link (overseas) dioceses, and vice versa. The placements will be in churches or church-associated projects and typically for 6 to 12 months. Execution of the programme is managed by the Diocesan St Chad's Volunteer Programme Director.

Provide community activities, information advice & guide with the aim of preventing poverty or hardship. Services include: Half term activity projects School Uniform Programme Interview Clothing Distribution of essential items such as sanitary wear /shoes /fuel & food. Provides emotional support in times of crisis & will represent/accompany service users to various meetings.

To use the monies held by the Trust to benefit the community of Hednesford through Charitable organisations and projects, which will improve the lives of the residents.

We provide a community space for various groups and clubs to hire and practice their own particular activity. We also provide a safe space for the community to come together and socialise in a a wide range of activities and events.

Burntwood YFC is a local charity providing youth work in and out of schools, colleges and churches across Burntwood and the surrounding areas. We are an independent local centre of Youth for Christ and we work with young people from ages 10-19 years old and up to 25 for those with learning difficulties. We work in accordance with the five outcomes set out in Every Child Matters.

We are a charity social group which supports children and young adults who have Down Syndrome and their families.We hold group family sessions consisting of meet ups and activities such as dance, circus skills, discos and trips -winter wonderland, festivals, theme parks etc. We hold more of these sessions during the school holidays when our members are more socially isolated and places to visit

Provide information and advise for people with kidney problems. Hold open meetings for patients to have the opportunity to ask a doctor questions away from a hospital environment. Help and support kidney dialysis units.

The Stoddard Educational Charity uses money gained from the sale of the old Meerbrook Church School to provide funding, grants and monetary assistance for 'Christian Education', to anyone who it is considered, by the trustees to be eligible

The PTFA works with our school, pupils, staff, parents and the local community to raise the profile of ourschool and to raise funds to enable the pupils to experience a wider education than would be otherwisepossible. We liase with the headteacher and other staff to raise funds for specific projects as required,and put on other social events to bring the community together with the school.

The South Cheshire Orchestra provides facilities for amateur musicians to gain orchestral experience regardless of age and ability. It aims to educate both the members and the public in the art and benefits of music through the presentation of public concerts, often for charitable causes external to itself.
