The purpose of the Foundation is to support the recovery of children with burn injuries. In doing so, the Foundation is uniquely placed in that it does not act as a direct provider of support to such children but instead works with different partnerships (including volunteers, health workers, health and fire services and research bodies).

Emmie's Kitchen provides food and support to parents and carers staying with their poorly child in the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. The offer includes regular hot meals, snack bags and emotional and practical support. Our aim is to improve the physical and mental well being of parents staying in the hospital.

Bramhall U3A is a learning cooperative established under the umbrella of the Third Age Trust and draws upon the knowledge, experience and skills of its own members to organise and provide interest groups. Members may attend monthly meetings or participate in over 50 Interest Groups covering a range of interests.

Poynton Players produce 4 to 5 plays each year, to an audience mainly drawn from the surrounding community. Over the last year, we have encouraged local drama, dance and singing groups, particularly youth organisations to take advantage of our facilities and are increasing our activities as as a community asset.

The Charity is a Group within the Scout Association. The Group runs four sections: beavers (ages 6 to 8), cubs (ages 8 to 11), scouts (ages 11 to 14) and explorers (15 and over).The Group owns its headquarters building, comprising meeting hall, committee rooms, kitchen and storerooms.

Brink Productions vision is to continually provide platforms and spaces that give young people the opportunity to express themselves within their communities and to have a voice. Les Abeilles de Manchester is a Saturday supplementary school who supports bi-lingual francophone children from birth to 16 years old. We offer sessions to support children in their learning of the French language and the francophone culture. Older students are also preparing for British and French exams.

A brass band who play music to entertain the local Marple community and the surrounding areas. Membership is open to everyone but a good level of playing a brass instrument is required.
