Providing emergency food parcels to people in Stockport who are experiencing difficult times due to unemployment, benefit changes/delays, low income or financial/domestic hardship

The objects of the charity are to promote the relief of persons who are aged, sick or who have disabilities and are in need of care and support, by provision of support services and information to such persons and their carers in Stockport; to carry out such other charitable purpose or purposes as the Trustees in their absolute discretion shall from time to time determine.

Providing support and information to women and girls who have suffered sexual violence or abuse; through helpline, Live Chat and email services. We also offer counselling and group work. In addition, we have an Independent Sexual Violence Advocate, aimed at Black and ethnically minoritised women.Working in partnership with commissioners, local groups, voluntary and statutory organisations.

We provide social care and support for people in the Stockport area who are suffering and recovering from a range of mental health problems. We offer a range of social, therapeutic, leisure, volunteering and educational activities that take place both inside the centre and in the wider community.

We aim to help develop the skills of all staff in Jewish Schools and nurseries by providing specially adapted training & consultancy services to suit Jewish cultural and religious requirements of pupils with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND). The centre provides the services of community and education centre in the Cheadle, Stockpot. The main objective of the centre is to advance the academic as well as Islamic education of the community.The centre provides Muslim prayer facilities and funeral services.We aim to provide food bank service.

A member-led organisation creating innovative, thought-provoking performance primarily to raise greater awareness and understanding of a variety of social and cultural issues from a disability perspective. Providing opportunities for training, confidence building & meaningful social interaction to reduce social isolation and signposting to other in/formal learning and employment opportunities.

We alleviate child poverty in Trafford and surrounding areas by providing free, preloved clothing and essentials to families in crisis. By redistributing donations, we support over 1,000 children yearly, promoting sustainability and reducing financial strain on families. Our services also address seasonal needs and work closely with local referral partners to ensure comprehensive support.

The Greater Manchester Transport Society exists to maintain a museum for the purpose of advancing the education of the public in the nature of public transport within the United Kingdom and the historical development of all aspects of such public transport with particular emphasis upon the historical aspects of road passenger transport in the counties of Greater Manchester Cheshire and Lancashire.

The Edward Holt Trust operates across Greater Manchester. Its principal activity is maintaining Holt House in Didsbury, which provides accommodation for older people with limited means. Recently the Trust has sought ways to have a more strategic impact on disadvantaged people in the area by assisting a number of homelessness projects with capital funds and other support costs.

Time Out Group (North West) is a member led organisation for adults (over 18) with learning disabilities/autism. We provide a range of activities that are active, educational and social that focus on the health and wellbeing of our members. We operate in the North West of England. Our services are run at our hub and in the community, providing support for our members, their parents and carers.
