The Charles Halle Foundation raises funds to assist the Halle Concerts Society in its non-core activities and in particular to finance foreign tours by the Halle Orchestra, to create opportunities to encourage young British astists and composers, to provide special concerts for young people and to support the Halle's education and outreach programme.

Religious activities

We are part of the Diocese of Chester in the Church of England. There are 2 churches in the parish, St, Andrew's and Emmanuel. We provide services of worship, religious education and pastoral support. We provide specific activities for children, young people and also elderly members of the community.

St Michael and All Angels Parochial Church Council [PCC} has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.The PCC also has responsibility for maintaining the site and buildings that comprise St Michael and All Angels Church and other properties owned by the PCC

Holistic support for women & girls, who have experienced significant adversity helping them build their confidence so they can thrive. Activities : Health & wellbeing, Befriending service for single mothers, confidence building, Cultural awareness on Cancer & domestic abuse , dance therapy , Heritage, practical & emotional support , skill acquisition, Pidgin English translation, Community Research

a) To provide specialist support services to tackle Gender Based Violence (GBV)B amongst Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) and to emphasise on the impact it has on children.(b) To educate, equip, empower and impact knowledge and raise awareness by conducting regular workshops on thefundamental effects and consequences of GBV.

Provide a Christian place of worship running under the auspices of the Church of England. This extends to providing Sunday Clubs for children, Praise and Play meetings on a Monday morning for toddlers, a variety of associations for instructiona and social events for all groups within the community.

Our aims and objectives are to provide for the relief of women and their children who have been physically, sexually and emotionally and/or mentally abuse within an intimate or family relationship throughout the United Kingdom. Also, to advance public and professional education and understanding of the issues of domestic violence/abuse throughout the United Kingdom.

The object of the CIO is for the residence and use of elderly and eligible persons, who shall have resided for at least nine years out of the last ten years preceding their appointment in a dwelling, either in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport district of Greater Manchester, or within 5 miles of Stockport Town Hall, and without regard to their religious or political opinions.

The Association exists to promote the benefit of persons whose family origins are the Yemen or from a BME background, particularly by the provision of education and training, preserving and promoting culture and language, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress within our community and providing access to leisure and recreational activities.

We run activities for ethnic communities of Greater Manchester, including:- sports and exercise opportunities;- youth work;- information resources in various languages on health, employment, domestic violence, environmental, financial and other relevant issues;- wellbeing sessions;- nature workshops;- awareness campaigns.

Advancement of the Christian faith, proclaiming the Christian gospel through word and deed in Manchester and beyond through Sunday and midweek gatherings. Relieving of financial hardship or other economic or social disadvantage.

Performance to the public of orchestral and chamber concerts from the repertoire of classical and modern music, recording such music, co-operation with schools and colleges in the provisin of musical education.

We provide consistent, empowering and engaging support to families in need across the cities of Salford and Manchester. We give vital baby and household essentials to the most vulnerable families. Our Stay & Play sessions give children and their families an opportunity to bond and have fun together, away from the stresses of home. We help women to achieve their Breastfeeding goals.

Our principal activities this year focused on developing our services to young people with a disability, delivering trampolining and rebound therapy sessions in our operational base in Stockport.

Provide a range of services from an attractive and accessible meeting place for all sectors of the community. Support for the depressed or bereaved, counselling & listening, courses to develop relationship and parenting skills, IT training. Support & training for 70 volunteers who service conference facilities, cafe, creche & Christian bookshop. Support programmes of young peoples work off site.

Sport - mainly Association Football

The Trust provides grants to projects designed to fight crime and the fear of crime in Greater Manchester.

Our charity provides improved access to healthcare and education, poverty relief and socio-economic development in the Middle East and North Africa through delivery of hospitals, clinics, prescriptions, operations, training and education. We deliver projects for personal development, education and community development in the UK at our base in Oldham, with a strong youth focus.

Delivering sports activities to young children in order to raise aspirations and provide tailored support toward positive engagement with education, statutory services and community cohesion initiatives.Promoting the positive influence of father figures and male role models with the aim of reducing violence and criminal activity via a bespoke Mentoring Program over 8 sessions per week.
