FUND RAISING FOR HARPFIELD PRIMARY ACADEMY. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE FAYRES, RAFFLES, DISCOS, FILM NIGHTS.

The charity provides medical ancillary aid to charitable organisations and individuals in line with its constitution and objects. This is achieved through a suite of options including financial, human resources, equipment and marketing. The charity operates nationally with its head office in Staffordshire.

Support & social group for persons under the age of 65 who have suffered a Stroke, and their families and carers. Telephone/email advice and support.Monthly social meetings, outings and events, for group members.We also have occasional input into the development of stroke medical treatments and rehabilitation.

Volunteer counselling services

The Community Cuppa Club organises social get togethers for people over 75 who live alone in Trentham and the surrounding areas. We take referrals from GPs, churches and individuals. We meet in local venues in Trentham, mainly pubs, for a cup of coffee, chat and lunch. We meet 52 weeks of the year at least 3 times every week. Help with transport can be arranged.

The charity operates in Longton, S-o-T. Main role is to provide a base for community involvement for all residents within its area. Weekly activities include cooking clubs, art class, knit and natter, local produce sales. Extra activities include - annual Christmas Celebration free for all residents, a fun day event (this year to commemorate the anniversary of WW1. Info events for the community.

Twice weekly activities for children and young people, promotion of intergenerational work, activities and health programmes for elderly persons, information and signposting for residents, MP and Councillor surgeries, fully equipped and operational Learning Centre offering vocational and recreational courses, art activities and environmental programmes, consultants on local regenerational issues.

We are a small association of volunteers set up to support the residents of two residential homes for adults with learning difficulties, Strathmore and Highcross, and their associated independent houses. Our major objective is improving the quality of life of the residents. We do this by supporting activities in the fields of the arts, sport and health/fitness as well as general social events.

Ensuring high standards of repair and conservation of historic buildings and finding secure new uses for redundant historic buildings in the area of Staffordshire (including the City of Stoke-on-Trent).

We continue to have a strong association with the local primary school and have an agenda item on the monthly PTFA meetings to give updates on activities on the green. We continue to celebrate the annual wreath laying at the cenotaph ( the John Rhodes) memorial on the green the last Friday before Remembrance day and for this the green is planted with flowers and wreaths are laid.

The Trust engaged in advancing education for the public benefit. Specifically, the Trust is engaged in developing and providing education curricular material that encourages creative and design-focussed programmes, and sponsors Academies that are operated by the Creative Education Trust.

We have run events in the summer and winter in the park to encourage local residents to make use of the park and to raise funds for the park. The funds have been spent on events and on planting for the park as well as putting towards restoration of the main gates and further play equipment for the park
