The Wychwood Charitable Trust is a Family Trust set up by The Hon Mrs Mary Watt (Deceased) to aid and assist the people of Norfolk and Suffolk areas.

Financial assistance for small charities.Encourage where possible an introduction to boating and the sea in general.

Recreation

The Society encourages and provides facilities for members of the public, with the aid of a Musical Director, to learn Choral music of various types and eras for their enjoyment and entertainment, and aims to perform at least two public performances each year in the District or Town of Bungay, Suffolk.

1st Mendlesham Scout Group is part of the Scout Association (UK) delivering activities to young people aged between six and eighteen years of age in four Sections; Beaver Scouts, Cubs Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts. These activities enable our members to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We provide an online support group setting to all members. We offer funded counselling, a befriending scheme and grants to help cover headstone/memorial plaque costs. We arrange regular meet ups for members as well as events to place a spotlight on baby loss awareness.

Performing concerts in the North Essex/South Suffolk area

Raising money for activities and other needs to benefit Thetford Grammar School.

Introduced to the village as a new green space.Villagers have adopted the green as their own area for both formal and informal events.Planting of trees and hedges has been developed to encourage wildlife.Fund-raising activities have brought the community together and help focus the aims of the Trust.

The Broke Hall School Home and School Association raises money through various fund raising activities such as Summer and Christmas Fayres, Discos, Activity mornings etc. Funds raised are used to benefit the children at the school.

The 36th Ipswich Scout Group is a chidrens charity serving children in the Chantry area of Ipswich. It is also dedicated to working with the local community to improve local facilities.

Supports the Church of England in Laxfield, Suffolk, and Pevensey, East Sussex.Supports the Laxfield and District Museum, and heritage projects initiated or supported by the Suffolk Records SocietyMakes small grants for general charitable purposes, especially to organizations concerned with education, and with the welfare of young people and ex-servicemen

Upkeep and improvements to the Village Hall which is hired for general activities.

Bowls is enjoyed by both sexes encompassing all age groups and is available to people with disabilities. Equipment and tuition is available to learners and recruitment is concentrated on the 8 to 18 age group. Younger players learn the discipline of being a team player and all members can participate in county and national competitions. Members also use the pavilion for social activities.

Nature Wildlife Park.

The Charity arranges events for the parents and children of Wickham Market School in order to raise money. Such events include: craft evenings, discos, fairs, bingo evenings, school calendar, fun-run and any other events that the committee agree on.

Working with parents,children and young people. Also providing a haven of last resort at the Ipswich Child Contact Centre ( Accredited Member of The National Association of Child Contact Centres ) to provide a safe environment for children to see their non-resident parent. Parents Conciliation Trust in Suffolk is affiliated with Ipswich Child Contact Centre.

Suffolk Poetry Society provides creative and educational poetry opportunities for its members and the public. It organises workshops,poetry readings and an annual poetry festival, often with other art forms. It runs the annual George Crabbe Memorial Poetry Competition.There is a postal portfolio group, website and regular printed and electronic newsletters.

RUNNING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE UPKEEP OF THE PAVILLION ,PLAYING FIELD AND THE CHILDRENS PLAY AREA

Daily meetings in our Shed to make & repair things for fund raising. Occasional meeting are held in a local village hall to discuss matters allied to the organisation and chat over a cuppa. Attend many local events eg. fetes to sell goods made. Have social outings for meals, visits to attractions and receive speakers. Assist other charities with their fund raising events.

All matters & expenses relevant to the maintenance of an incumbent at St Marys Church, Higham St Mary, Suffolk as shown in accounts voluntarily submitted for this & previous years.

Woodbridge Excelsior Band is a Brass Band established in 1846. The Band provides an opportunity for anyone who is interested in playing music within the setting of a traditional Brass Band. The Band performs traditional favourites, modern pop music and contemporary music. It can be hired for concerts, local fetes, civic parades, carol services or private functions, throughout the entire year.

The objects of Ely Consort CIO are to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts in East Anglia and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide.
