The 36th Ipswich Scout Group is a chidrens charity serving children in the Chantry area of Ipswich. It is also dedicated to working with the local community to improve local facilities.

It provides opportunities during the day time for education and recreation for mature people no longer in full time employment.

Blaxhall Village Hall was built in 1911 for the needs of the village, it is run on a charity basis to provide a venue for social and fund raising events.

To raise funds to preserve the fabric of St Mary's Church in the Parish of Otley Suffolk

To distribute the income of the charity to four named organisations, as set out in the trust deed, all of whom work for public benefit in the UK or overseas.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL.

Weekly meetings: Lord's Day(Sunday):10.30am; Monday Ministry Meetings 7.30pm; Meetings Tuesday for prayer meeting: 7.30pm; Thursday Bible Study 7.30pm. Various home meetings: times vary; Saturday for occasional fellowship. Regular meetings with other local churches.Training meetings for 2 weekends every 6 months. Times of gospel outreach.

To advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure for the benefit of the residents Barrow and the surrounding area.

Nature Wildlife Park.

To conserve and manage the ruins of the Scheduled Ancient Monument known as Greyfriars Monastery at Dunwich in Suffolk, and the adjacent woodland known as Greyfriars Wood, for the benefit of the people of Dunwich and for the nation.

Working with parents,children and young people. Also providing a haven of last resort at the Ipswich Child Contact Centre ( Accredited Member of The National Association of Child Contact Centres ) to provide a safe environment for children to see their non-resident parent. Parents Conciliation Trust in Suffolk is affiliated with Ipswich Child Contact Centre.

CHARITY FUND RAISING WITHIN THE GUIDELINES OF THE INTERNATIONAL ROTARY ORGANISATION

It receives donations and makes bequests to masonic and non-masonic charities and provides relief to individual members and their dependents.

Friends Of The Oaks raise funds that are used to enhance provision of additional facilities for the students of the school.

To provide additional equipment and extra curricular support to children of Cliff Lane Primary School through fundraising events.

Supporting St Mary's Church Great Wratting.

The business of the society is to run an agricultural show and this is duly held on May Bank Holiday.

The charity supports the education of pupils and former pupils (under the age of 25) of Thomas Mills High School, a state comprehensive school in Framlingham, Suffolk. It does this in a number of ways: by awarding an annual prize; by supporting former pupils who are currently medical students; by providing assistance with the cost of travel for educational purposes and for connected purposes.

General youth club activities such as table tennis, pool and various craft and educational workshops

The Community Light Orchestra (CLO) provides opportunities for individuals of mixed ages and abilities to enhance their musical skills at weekly rehearsals, both of the full orchestra, the string orchestra and the wind ensemble. The orchestra gives fund raising concerts in aid of local charities (for example, the John LeVay Cancer Information Centre and SSAFA in 2014.)

Provides funds through fund raising to support activities in the village.

To promote a deeper understanding of the works of CG Jung in and around Cambridge.

The purpose of scouting is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. We provide a structured training for young people from 6 to 16.
