Fundraising for the RAF Association Wings Appeal and Social and Welfare for the whole Royal Air Force Family and veterans.

We remain committed to helping all in need in our area. Our main work is the teaching of First Aid to members of the public and the provision of First Aid cover for all types of public events.

The charity's activities are to provide additional resources and activities for the children and school to enhance education and a broader learning.

The Parent Teacher Association holds social events for children and parents and also raises funds to enhance the children's educational activities.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Each year a Spring Festival is held. This is either a contest in which bands perform a short concert, or a solo & quartet contest, or a sectional workshop and an evening concert performed by one of the top brass bands in the country. The Charity also holds an annual training day for brass players of all ages & abilities. The tutors are players/conductors from the top brass bands in the country.

Provides buildings/facilities/open space to enable activities and meeting space for residents of the village or neigbouring villages.

The preservation and improvement of St Mary's Church, Bacton, and to promote interest in it as a building of historic and architectural merit and in its use as a community asset for the village and surrounding district. We raise funds by collecting donations and by holding events. We organise educational events with local schools, and encourage the use of the church building.

The Rotary Club of Felixstowe Landguard is a service organisation with a membership of 28We support local and international charities by providing funds and manpower in areas of need. Funds are raised locally. Charities are supported on the basis of need and the membership advise the Trustees of projects which they recommend are supported.

The PTA's stated objective is to advance the education of pupils in the school by:1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment to support the school and advance the education of all pupils
