GENERAL BENEFIT OF THE POOR

The PTA's stated objective is to advance the education of pupils in the school by:1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; and2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment to support the school and advance the education of all pupils

To provide a meeting place for young and elderly people of the village.

To provide a building for use by the community for various recreational purposes.

Weekly meetings, speakers, fund-raising activities

Meetings are held monthly and they enable woman to learn new skills, be aware what goes on in the locality, to take part in a wide range of activities and to compaign on issues

We hold fund raising events such as coffee mornings, table top sales and stalls at charity events. We also hold raffles at sports day and at the Christmas play.

Management of Wissett Village Hall

Religious or other charitable purposes of the Church of England as the trustee see fit.

We raise money for the upkeep of the Church Building and its grounds

Elmsett School PTA organises fund raising events and uses the funds to purchase new equipment and resources for the children and staff of Elmsett school.

The charity holds an annual agricultural show.

To advance the education of the public by the provision and maintenance of a museum in Laxfield for: (a) The preservation and exhibition of specimens of archaeology, geology and natural and social history of the district. (b)The conservation and maintenance of the Museum's collections.

To popularise astronomy through observing, public outreach meetings, lecture and educational meetings.

Charitable community facility for the recreational use by the residents of Easton & Letheringham . The Trustees are responsible for the day to day management of the facility.

Primary school fundraising events such as Winter Fayre, Disco, bun/ice cream day, Talent show and Quiz Night.

Fundraising for the RAF Association Wings Appeal and Social and Welfare for the whole Royal Air Force Family and veterans.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Provide area for General public's use and hirer

Through the organisation of charitable events and specific fund raising activities we generate funds to support good causes in the community, and internationally by supporting world wide rotary projects. We also support "Hands on" local charities and facilities for the less fortunate by holding fund raising events and supporting joint projects.

Supporting the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of St John the Evangelist, Bury St Edmunds

Provides village hall facilities in Chevington, Suffolk

Provides buildings/facilities/open space to enable activities and meeting space for residents of the village or neigbouring villages.
