Normal fundraising: Quiz nights, craft fairs, music events and fashion shows.

To promote the musical education and development of young people and to support the provision of music tuition and performance in Swindon and the surrounding area.

We hold monthly meetings where we have speakers on various topics or we have an activity meeting. We have a raffle each month and also a competition linked with the speaker or activity. At least twice a year we have an outing one of which is usually a Christmas meal or similar at an outside venue. Quite often we have a quiz with just small prizes for the winning team.

Highworth Evening Women's Institute holds monthly meetings and regularly organises extra activities.It offers the chance to make new friends and have a good time in a supportive environment.It seeks to offer its members the opportunity to develop interests and skills in a wide range of subjects.It supports the local community.

To give members the opportunity to participate in the many facets of musical theatre and to present these productions for public entertainment.

Charity activities for the year have included infant and junior discos, a fireworks party, summer and christmas fetes and a circus

The object of the Swindon Music Festival is to advance the education of the public in the Arts, and in particular the Arts of Music, in all their branches, primarily by holding an annual competitive festival.

The education of the public through the preservation, maintenance and controlled use of historical self-propelled railway carriages (Diesel Multiple Unit Trains), especially those built in Gloucester.

We aim to:Create opportunities for friendships, social engagement and skill sharing in a safe and enjoyable environment, in which members can meet and carry out creative projects.Promote social inclusion by providing a facility particularly (but not exclusively) for anyone at risk of being socially excluded.Promote good health, mental health and well-being through active participation.

We make small cash grants to people living in Swindon, when needed within a few days, through trusted organisations- local partner organisations, that are engaged in supporting people struggling to meet the basic needs of living.

The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of chamber music in all its aspects by the presentation of public professional recitals; and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide.

Supporting the work of Christ Church with St. Mary's, Swindon by financing the maintenance of the church, its associated buildings and the churchyard in the immediate vicinity of the church.

Fortnightly meetings with entertainment etc. arrange outings and holidays for the local over 60's.

Village Hall in Castle Eaton, near Swindon. Provides meetings space for village groups and other social activities.

Academic Ear, Nose and Throat surgery conferences twice yearly, with public lecture every two years.Sponsorship of ENT surgeons/doctors to undertake additional training and academic study.

We hold events at the local school to raise money to put back into the school. For example, cake sales, fetes, discos

Craft Club - Tuesdays 10 am - 1 pm Principally cane work, but any other craft work is encouraged.Social Club - Wednesday 2 - 4 pm Entertainment provided by either visiting performers or activities such as dominoes or bingo.

To help past employees of Linton and Hirst Ltd who experience adversity in their lives

Programme of three natural therapies - nutrition, massage and imagery for an average of three sessions for optimum/successful results. Children aged 2-22 suffering any condition or symptoms. Families attend from the south west. Also provides resources, talks and training.

The purpose of the Management Committee is to provide governance and oversight of the running, letting and maintenance of the Guiding facility known as Trefoil House in Wroughton.

To advance education for the public benefit in the history and heritage of Swindon Town FootballClub by the establishment and maintenance of a museum displaying and preserving historicalartefacts, memorabilia and all forms of media for the education and benefit of our communities.

The relief of people in Swindon and Wiltshire who are in conditions of need, hardship or homelessness, particularly but not exclusively by the provision of a drop-in centre and by making grants to charitable organisations.

RAISING FINANCE TO BUILD CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THAT WE WILL DEVELOP ARE IN ILFORD CENTRAL, INDIA, ANGOLA, ALBANIA, BOLIVIA AND BRAZIL,WE WILL PROVIDE A COMMUNITY CENTRE THAT WILL SERVE AS A MULTI PURPOSE FACILITY, HOUSING A TRAINING CENTRE, SKILLS WORKSHOP, AFTER SCHOOL CARE FACILITIES AND MUCH MORE. COMMUNITY LOCAL AREA WHERE WE WORK WITH CHILDREN.

Sporting and social activities for the Visually Impaired in Swindon and surrounding Areas, including Tenpin Bowling, Cycling, Sailing, Acoustic Rifle Shooting, and Showdown (a sport created specifically for visually impaired people). Social activities includes monthly coffee get togethers, monthly breakfast meet ups, and a monthly walk and talk.

Fundraising helps us to improve resources and enrich the curriculum but it doesn't stop there... The events the PTA put on are important too as they help to make school a little bit more exciting for everyone!
