FUNDRAISING FOR THE RED OAKS PRIMARY SCHOOL, PROVIDING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR LOCAL CHILDREN AND RESIDENTS

Assistance for disability, hardship and nature conservation causes.

Wanborough Village Hall provide a meeting place for all inhabitants of the Parish of Wanborough without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving conditions of life for the said inhabintants.

We make small cash grants to people living in Swindon, when needed within a few days, through trusted organisations- local partner organisations, that are engaged in supporting people struggling to meet the basic needs of living.

We help young children and their families who face challenging circumstances by supporting learning and life skills from early years through primary education, in Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Lothian and Fife; these are our local communities. We fund smaller charities, primary schools and organisations focussed on children and young people up to the age of 12.

The charity runs various vocal training courses for students of all ages with the aim of promoting, improving, developing and maintaining public appreciation and experience of vocal music. Classes are held on a weekly basis during the three term year and singers also experience workshops and performing at recitals and concerts. The age range is from 5 years upto late teens.

The charity raises funds to support the research, preparation and writing of the Victoria County History of Wiltshire. It raises funds by seeking donations and organising fund-raising events.

The object of the charity is to relieve the blind, partially sighted or those labouring under some temporary or permanent incapacity or disability which makes reading a strain, by the provision of recorded material or tactile reading matter in Swindon and surrounding area.

The StoweAway aims to serve and build the community in East Wichel through a variety of activities, working alongside a number of local volunteers and community partners.

To give members the opportunity to participate in the many facets of musical theatre and to present these productions for public entertainment.

A wide range of activities for children including water activities, camping, creative activities, with the opportunity to earn badges for taking part in these activities.

Fundraising and Donations used to take Burn Injured Children on activity camps and family day trips

We provide spiritual, religious and pastoral care and church services to the public in Swindon.

Provide grants to distressed brother masons their distressed widows dependents individuals and organisations within the county of Wiltshire and Unitary Authority of Swindon for the general relief of medical mental and physical distress among the elderly disabled surgical cases and those subject to violence.

Provision of age appropriate backpacks, containing essential and comforting items to children entering the care system.Backpacks are provided through fund raising.

The advancement of the amateur sport of association football in the Borough of Swindon for the public benefit by supporting, developing and promoting primary school football.

Provision of Immediate Medical Care

We are run by volunteers only and raise funds by hosting events, obtaining sponsorship etc. These funds are then used to further the education and wellbeing of pupils at the school.

Share information and raise awareness and carry out training programmes involved in clinical, health and/or social care; supporting clinical, health and/or social care staff and research including making grants; work with industry, charities, universities, the health service and any other relevant bodies to assist the progress of scientific discoveries, clinical breakthroughs and new technologies.

Our aim to to give young people the best possible headstart in life through nautical adventure and fun, based on the traditions and customs of the Royal Navy.

PROVIDING A WEEKLY LUNCH SERVICE TO 50 PENSIONERS IN A SAFE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT IN PENHILL SWINDON

The charity maintains the hall providing space and supporting local social activities and groups in the community.

The charity provides food and provisions to those in need on the streets of Swindon, currently on one evening a week. In addition it provides a focus for other professional agencies to make contact with homeless people and to make appropriate interventions.
