Animal Welfare

We collect used Prosthetic Limbs that can not be reused in this country, they are sorted, stripped and sanitised in readiness to be shipped to disadvantaged countries that have a need for used prostheses and their component parts.

The Piers Simon Appeal runs School in a Bag (SIAB) - an initiative that distributes rucksacks filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils to poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children around the world.SIAB runs many events including Home Farm Fest, a 3 day music festival held at the charity HQ in SomersetThe charity has 4 employees and 2 part time volunteers

Making grants to charities and organisations working to relieve poverty and it's effects both in the UK and abroad and occasionally to individuals suffering financial distress. Also making grants to charities and organisations working with the abused and deprived.

Trust in Children seeks to help disadvantaged children through enabling them to access education. We focus on supporting causes that larger charities often overlook, where our input will have maximum impact on a child or young person's life.

CIP-UK works to develop the capacity, education, health and skills of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities. It preserves the environment by reducing the amount of waste being sent to landfill through recycling, and educating communities about the recycle ethic. CIP-UK eases financial hardship by providing recycled medication, used clothing, computers, to local communities.

MHED Provides services, advocacy, advice and information on education/ training, medical education and sickness.

third World In Need aims at helping countries in the third world region and these includes parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle east. We donate used clothes, food, Health and educational resources to people in these regions.

The trustees visited ICU in hospital in the Gambia during 2014-2015 and were pleased to see it in operation. Shipment of donated medical goods sent in September 2014 to hospital in the Gambia.Brought two ITU Gambian nurses to Broomfield hospital 2016 for two months training. Supported 1 medical student and 1 pharmaceutical student,2017-2018, donated £500 to Bees Abroad
