The CIO exists to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts, culture, and heritage, and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing), the arts of orchestral, choral and other music.

Our aim is to ensure no-one in our community is lonely, hungry or frightened.We have a team of around 190 volunteers who offer services such as shopping, prescription collectionand other small errands for people who cannot leave the house to do these things for themselves. Pro Bono Community seeks to improve access to justice by providing specialist training in legal advice and social welfare law to lawyers, trainees and students and then coordinating, managing and monitoring placements for them as volunteers at Law Centres and advice agencies including PBC's own remote appeals advice clinic.

Seven Springs is an outdoor activity centre providing good quality accommodation for young people. It is set in inspirational scenery on the edge of the Peak District National Park.The site is open to all youth groups who hold a documented child protection policy.

Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association works to promote human rights and respect for international humanitarian law in Abu Dis. Palestine. We educate the public through publications, public meetings, friendship links and visits in both directions, and promote positive projects in Abu Dis in such fields as education, health and youth work.

The Right Course seeks to promote the education of young offenders, ex-young offenders or those at risk of offending by providing or assisting in the provision of training and qualifications in catering and hospitality skills whilst in prison; and mentoring and into-work and employment advice and support upon their release.

We support children and young people up to the age of 35 and their families affected by Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1). We organise residential camps for children and days out for families. We are passionate about mental health and wellbeing. We work closely with health visitors to raise awareness and early diagnosis of NF1.
