North East Wellbeing works to maintain a community of practitioners delivering wellbeing services to partnerships of schools. We work in the North East of England.

We advocate for the mental health of men at work, at home, and in other settings. Despite holding public events a few times a year, our primary focus is on video. Our goal is not to give advice, but rather to highlight what others have done to overcome mental health issues. We work with various charities and mental health services to break stigma.

Roots of Empathy UK delivers an evidence-based classroom programme to children in primary school that has shown significant effect in reducing levels of aggression and bullying among children while raising social/emotional competence and increasing empathy. Through participation in the program, students get a deeper understanding of themselves and others building inclusion.

EQUALS is a national organisation that endeavours to ensure high standards of education for pupils with learning difficulties. EQUALS main activities involve organising national conferences, best practice workshops, producing curriculum guidance materials and resources for teachers, setting up curriculum workshops for teachers and providing consultancy to individual schools and Local Authorities.

The charity provides organizational and financial support for activities such as conferences, workshops and symposia around the world on topics in news safety for news media workers; engages with employers to collaborate in providing financial support for news safety training; and formulates and promotes news safety best practices for training, equipment and field work.

The Charlie & Carter Foundation, based in South Shields, provides financial support to the parents of seriously ill children with life limiting conditions which require 24 hour nursing care or specialist nursing facilities. Raising awareness of the difficulties faced by parents and carers who care for seriously ill children and strives to improve the quality of life of sick children.
