Unique shows fuse the unusual with the imaginative; a cappella singing, drumming and dance. Feelgood inspire adults and children alike with the sheer joy and surprise of live drama. BACD provides a forum for those working in Childhood Disability. We host committee and educational meetings, develop teaching, training and educational materials and support the strategic research group. BACD works closely with voluntary and other organisations, provides technical advice to inform policy and guidance and works to improve the health of children, young people and their families.

Autscape runs an annual conference by and for autistic people (since 2005). Autscape provides an autistic-oriented environment created by autistic people and welcomes presentations which accept that autistics do not need to be fundamentally changed in order to be acceptable.
