Radhakrishma Temple Shyama Ashram is committed to bringing communities together. The trust organises social and religious events, prayers, and celebrations which are open to the larger community. The Tides Foundation makes grants to UK registered Charities. The Foundation's grant making policy considers operation, governance and financials to donate to various charities.

The trust makes grants for projects, within UK only, to registered charities benefiting physically and mentally disabled. Ongoing & core costs, research & major funding are not favoured. Requests from individuals are not considered. Appeals, which must be accompanied by accounts, are not acknowledged. Trustees meet in March/June/Sept/Dec. Successful applicants are advised within two weeks.

Land of Joy, a residential retreat centre in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, provides group and solitary retreats of varying types - Buddhist and secular, including health and well-being. We welcome people of all ages and walks of life, from any religion or none. In the future, the centre hopes to develop a service for the local community dedicated to end of life care, offering peace and dignity

Pledgeball brings about behavioural/attitude change, reducing human impact on the planet. Pledgeball works in 2 ways: Football Fixtures- Each match day, Pledgeball encourages fans to make pledges in support of their team (ranging from using a reusable cup to installing solar panels). Pledgeball events- Anyone can host an event with participants making sustainable lifestyle pledge(s) to enter.
