The VSF's mission is to provide an opportunity for the more fortunate in society to help those who are disadvantaged by contributing financially and by volunteering time. The VSF promotes existing charities and individual initiatives in developed countries which strive to bring marginalized individuals and families into society. AWARENESS IS RAISED THROUGH LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGNS, THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A WEBSITE AND THROUGH LEAFLETS. WE AIM TO RAISE FUNDS TO HELP RELIEVE THE EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL STRESS OF THIS RARE DIAGNOSIS AND TO RAISE FUNDS INTO RESEARCH.
