NYFTE gives young people (aged 10 to 18) from across England the opportunity to perform a variety of English folk dance traditions, folk songs and music to a high standard. NYFTE's performances can be seen at festivals, ceilidhs, workshops and other public events and we aim to promote the understanding of, participation in and enjoyment of traditional English dances, music and song to everyone.

We are a brass band, operating in Lewes and the surrounding area. We have a senior band who participate in contests and concerts, and a thriving junior section, 'BrassSparks'. Our youth programme offers whole class brass teaching in local primary schools allowing young people to access brass instrument tuition, and offers continuation sessions through BrassSparks.

As a new charity currently supporting the homeless by distributing free food. Also distributing Islamic literature to the general public to remove misconception of Islam and to improve community cohesion.

To advance the Buddhist religion in the UK for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, producing and/or distributing literature with the tradition of Vajrayana (Tibetan) Buddhism to enlighten others about the Buddhist religion.
