To advance the education of the public in the history of public transport vehicles particularly but not exclusively from the Teesside Area by establishing and preserving for posterity a collection of public transport vehicles and by such other means as the Trustees may determine.

The main aim of the charity is to provide food and provisions for families whose children are receiving end of life care in their own homes, in a hospice or in hospital. The charity is a much needed resource in the community to address the need for immediate practical support for extremely vulnerable families.

This is a church with general purposes to attend our public.

The Reef Housing Project provides housing for persons with homelessness concerns, asylum seekers to the UK & persons with a disability throughout England. Legal advice is provided, & we encourage membership to organisations within the local community & places of worship. Daily refreshments with evening meals are available during your residency. Mirfield Mind And Body provides a fully matted, low-cost training space suitable martial arts, fitness, yoga and gymnastics etc. It's entirely managed and operated by volunteers.

We provide activities and events to promote the acceptance of patients and their families to their disability. We provide peer support for those suffering a spinal cord illness or injury.

Bhimber Helping Hands supports individuals facing poverty due to youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or social disadvantage. Operating in district Bhimber, AK, Pakistan, we provide grants, essential aid, and community services to improve quality of life and empower vulnerable individuals to build a sustainable future.

Representing and enabling people to understand and move forward within the spiritualist religion, including spiritual development and healing as well as spiritualist services open to all who wish to attend.

Our current activities include the provision of practical support to refugees and asylum seekers from the Sudanese Community living in the UK, as most of them experience problems of adjusting to a different culture, language difficulties to access basic services such as health, education, housing, training and employment. We help families, children and young people to improve their lives.

The North East Sex Work Forum is a centre of excellence and good practice underpinned by participatory values, partnership working and inclusivity. We are dedicated to informing policy, improving service development and reducing stigma for people involved in all aspects of the sex industry across the North East and beyond by collaborating with our regional/national partners within this community

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN WHO ARE IN NEED, BY: PROTECTING CHILDREN AND SUPPORTING CHILDREN TO MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS, INCLUDING SURVIVAL AND DEVELOPMENT.

Old Silkstone Brass Band is a community organisation which provides members with access to learning and performing brass band music. The band are based in Silkstone near Barnsley but perform not only to the local community but much further afield.

General Charitable Purposes

(a) The organisation organises seminars, workshops etc to explain the tenets of Islam to others. Muslim leaders /Imams participate in the seminars for the community to promote the understanding of other faiths among Muslim women and youth. We undertake pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. We promote Islam through the staging of events,meet and provide humanitarian services.

We raise money through fund raising events to help children with life threatening conditions and their families. We also have a lovely Holiday Respite caravan for poorly children and their families to enjoy quality time together away from the hospitals.

The Rotary Club of Hereford Elgar Rotary is part of Rotary International. As such, we operate within RI governance arrangements, whilst being an independent UK charity registered with the UK Charities commission. We raise funds to support those most in need locally, nationally and internationally. We also support End Polio Now and Rotary Foundation.

Following the death of a joint trustee in 2016 the charity was no longer active. The charity is being reopened with more trustees. However external grant applications are not being considered.

We provide classes for children to learn Arabic

The object of the charity is to advance the education of primary school children who have special educational needs that are not separately or fully addressed or funded by the children's school(s)

The advancement of the amateur sport of hockey throughout the United Kingdom.The Charity provides coaching assistance within schools and provides hockey equipment for their use. The Charity also provides funding in order for individuals to pursue their hockey careers in a playing, coaching and umpiring capacity..
