We support the less fortunate in our Comunity

We are currently focusing our charitable efforts supporting education and poverty relief in Cambodia.This includes providing grants to support the day to day running costs or care centers / orphanages including assisting with the purchase of food, firewood, electricity, medicine and hygiene supplies etc.We undertake fundraising events and secure donations through private & corporate donors.

initial setting up of the charity in this year so no funds were alocated to projects untill the later half of 2011.There has been a period of settling in as the 2 main Trustees sadly died in this year.

THE CHARITY'S WORK IS TO PROVIDE:-EDUCATION AND TRAINING-AWARENESS ON ACHIEVEMENT

Leeds Male Voice Choir's key objectives are to advance public education and the understanding and appreciation of the arts and science of men's choral singing, through a series of annual concerts, events and public performances.

To provide education to most deprived children in the community in an inner city area of Rawalpindi Pakistan.To provide financial support to poverty stricken single parent families who have limited form of alternative support available to them. This year Alfajr worked with families effected by the crisis in Syria.

1)RELIEF OF POVERTY, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING ADVICE, SUPPORT AND INFORMATION TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED 2)PROTECTING AND PRESERVING PUBLIC HEALTH BY DELIVERING REGULAR HEALTH WORKSHOPS 3)ADVANCING EDUCATION AND TRAINING, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSES 4)PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE

Develops projects with indigenous communities in the areas of health, education, forest retention and regeneration, human rights, income generation, preservation of traditional knowledge, cultural reinforcement, communications and use of appropriate technology. Also public information and education to raise the profile of indigenous people in order to gain support for their cultures.

Rescue, rehabilitation of Sled dogs and education of their owners

GMC, UK leads people in Worship, Prayer, Mission, Outreach, and develops people's knowledge about Christ.We provide pastoral care and social action for all people. We support the needy and homeless physically and spiritually. We serve the aged regardless of belief & support Children and youth in developing Talents, Skills, Media, arts, or creativity. We organise trips & retreats for all members.

Gospel/ evangelical witness to all ages via Church services, youth and other clubs, social events, camps, literature and multi-media methods. Coffee mornings in support of other Charities. Teenage Saturday Club activities and Young Christians groups with South East Churches. Local events all at New Manor Hall, in homes of church members with house groups. OHP lunches and craft nights for charity

Promoting education in the field of antiquarian books.

To advance the education of the public in the history of public transport vehicles particularly but not exclusively from the Teesside Area by establishing and preserving for posterity a collection of public transport vehicles and by such other means as the Trustees may determine.

The Objects of the Club are such purposes as are exclusively charitable in England & Wales, including in particular; the advancement of citizenship by promoting the principles of good citizenship; encouraging members to take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community; providing a forum for the open discussion of all matters of public interest.

The objects of the charity are to advance health and wellbeing, to advocate and campaign for better healthcare for women and families, to advance education in matters relating to self-advocacy in health, and to promote social inclusion and equity in healthcare for the public benefit.

Manufacture and deliver beds to young people suffering from bed poverty. We work in conjunction with two other local charities.

The charity is currently in the process of building-up assets to fund its activities of making charitable grants and is making limited grants.

Raise funds for East Bridgford St Peters C of E Academy by hosting events, activities and also by donations.

The Charity has had a very active 2018 with addition of two major fund raising events. As well as our very well supported quiz nights and Christmas Party we took up the challenge of a ladies team walking non-stop, 100k, around the Isle of Wight. We also had a men's team each with a £500 car who drove from Kent to Monaco and back. Together the teams raised in excess of £26,000.
