Our academy holds weekly classes for women and girls. Monday to Sunday.class durations are 3hrs per class.We are based in NU base Upperthorpe.All women are welcome.

Services offered include Information and Awareness Sessions, Sign-posting Services, Admin and Basic Clerical Services and Advocacy amongst others.

Collections donations on behalf, of the Eccleshill/Shipley food bank, a local charity This includes non perishable foodstuffs, baby items, tinned tomatoes, long life milk and fruit juice. Items collected continuously, and delivered to the foodbank approx every 3-4 weeks. Also voluntary donations to British heart foundation and and local person collected for for medical equipment.

Supporting children and their families going through their cancer diagnosis and treatment. This by means of providing facilities for recreation, financial assistance (small grants), emotional and practical advice. Providing help and assistance to Oncology wards, children's hospice (oncology patients).

The Charity supports projects in the fields of health and welfare which encourage excellence and enhance the quality of people's lives.

The charity helps communities by providing free weekly religious education for all ages and conducting football matches along with athletic sessions for youths as well as running a centre for worship.

Spaywatch is no longer active, and is in the process of winding down according to the Charity Commission's terms.

To provide Gentle Birth Method classes to pregnant mothers and their partners on a weekly basis at the Whittington Hospital, Archway, London. To reduce Caesarian section rates and reduce maternal trauma during childbirth resulting in positive birth outcomes for mother and baby.

Fundraising is one of our main objectives and the money raised goes towards buying resources for the school that are outside the school budget. We also like to organize various social get-togethers, from family gatherings to events for the children and nights out just for parents.

The Diamond Kite Foundation hopes to provide much needed respite for young carers with a chance of a holiday of a lifetime to Disney World in Florida, USA with other young carers experiencing the same things in their lives, providing an opportunity to make new friends and help build a network of support.
