Volta International Festival premieres new international plays in the UK, producing a series of high-quality, ground-breaking productions as part of its annual new writing Festival in London. Alongside, we run a full programme of community and education projects designed to develop new audiences for theatre and provide meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with the Arts.

Volunteers Go Global (VGG) empowers young people through inclusive local and international programmes. It combines cultural exchange, volunteering and skills development to build confidence, broaden horizons, and create pathways into education, employment and leadership.

The charity is raising funds to erect a memorial by renowned sculptor Paul Day to acknowledge the heroic and noble deeds carried out by Dame Vera Lynn throughout her life.The memorial is linked to Dover District Council's project to create an amphitheatre on the cliffs at Dover, by connecting Dame Vera Lynn's memorial to an open air concert venue her music legacy will live on for all.

Any organisations or beneficiaries should have a strong connection with Yorkshire. In particular the charity makes contributions to the North York Moors Chamber Music Festival as this was a specific interest of the settlor.

The Sanctuary operates for the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of wild birds in need of care and attention through use of its Helpline, Email and Website facilities.
