The objects of the charity are improving health care, wellbeing & the treatment of age-related conditions for our ageing population. This includes supporting research and providing services that benefit the local community for the often vulnerable target group.Our work will also support young carers by providing services that support and facilitate an ongoing succesful care giving situation.

Erase Meso is a charity that 1. Raises funds for scientific research aimed at finding a cure for Mesothelioma 2. Advances education and awareness of the general public in all areas relating to Mesothelioma

The charity provides relief to those in need by reason of youth, old age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in England, Zimbabwe and South Africa for public benefit. It provides specially designed or adapted housing and items, services or facilities and trains and supplies carers to these groups for public benefit.

The Littleborough & District Lions Club (CIO) raises funds locally, by organising walks and participating in events, organised by other local Groups. We help local causes, by helping them to run events, so that they can raise their own funds. We also endeavour to claim grants from various local authorities.Along with other Lions Clubs, we give support in the case of Global Disasters.

We provide opportunities for individuals with learning differences and diverse abilities to feel empowered, to be supported and to have a sense of belonging. We do this through the provision of dance classes and workshops with a base in commercial dance, and by supporting our dancers to take part in performances throughout the year.

To relieve health poverty across the world with the help of our trustees and donations. The key focus being to help improve public health and the saving of lives, particularly in areas of the world where it is lacking.

Our PTA works with our school staff, parents & pupils to put on a range of events and activities, such as sweet sales, raffles, family fun days etc. These help to build the school community and help fundraise for the children. We use our funds to purchase additional activities for the school children such as Christmas Pantos, author visits, science week etc.
