The Friends of Pittville School is dedicated to raising money for the School. We are parents, staff and friends of the School who want to further enhance the education and well-being of our children, their families and the wider community. Our aim is to support the school, by providing resources, specialist equipment, developing outside spaces or providing funds for educational events.

Fundraising as per Charity's objectives

To prevent or relieve poverty and financial hardship in village Zhangar, district of Bharuch, Gujarat, India by:a) Providing help towards the cost of medical treatment to poor.b) To advance the education of the pupils by providing books, uniforms, grant.c) To fund the building & maintenance of public facilities projects such as local schools, religious institution, cemetery, water pumps etc.

To relieve the needs of bereaved people in Manchester who lack the financial means to meet the costs of funeral expenses by the provision of grants of financial assistance to assist with such costs and by the provision of emotional and practical support designed to provide comfort and assist with the grieving process.

Parkhill Rainbow is set up to support evangelical Christianity by making grants to individuals and organisations for the advancement of the religion and educating people about the religion. We help the general Public with a specific focus on Children and Young people and operate throughout England and specific areas outside England and Wales.

We support funding into research for a cure for Glioblastoma. We are working closely with Brain Tumour Research and Brain Tumour Charity.We have a retreat in Grimsby for anyone with a life changing illness and their families to talk and relax.We fund individuals with a life limiting illness to achieve a goal from their bucket list.

Church Service in Bolton, UK every Sunday from 2pm to 5pm

We fund raise through various events and schemes within the school year to generate proceeds for the school to spend on materials and learning support that they cant otherwise afford to purchase

Social and fundraising for the benefit of the children at the St Ursula Convent School, Greenwich

Lectures for women on awareness of blood pressure and diabetes. Food distribution to homeless people in the local area.

We tackle misconceptions, build knowledge, self esteem, understanding and support around sexual reproductive health, rights and menstrual hygiene management in Kenya. The Kujuwa Initiative donates washable sanitary pads, and educates girls and boys, teachers and families about sexual reproductive health, rights and menstrual hygiene management.

Provision of advice, information, support (material and psychological), medication, financial assistance, hold conferences/seminars, interpreting, translating in UK and in DRC-holding trainings, conferences and seminars to increase awareness of diabetes and health-The relief of poverty by providing material support such as medications, food, clothing

Dedicated to imaginative and responsible funding for, but not limited to ballet and contemporary dance with a particular focus on supporting young emerging choreographic talent and excellence.

RaAM's aim is to advance the study of metaphor for the public benefit. To this end it organises annual international metaphor conferences/seminars and practical training workshops, offers prizes for high quality presentations by research students and publications by academics early in their career, and tries to bring together academics and students.

Musicians in need due to poverty, social, economic or financial circumstances have benefited. 1 to1 health services have continued through the year with great success.Community Respite/ health courses with approx 100 wkly participants continue with success.Conditions range from depression, arthritis, CVD, COPD.Entertainment, music & health resources continue to be developed.

We make grants to young women living in the North East of England, under 26 years of age, to enable them to undertake courses or experiences which will enable them to: - deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and/or - develop their human and spiritual potential and/or - develop their capacity for leadership and/or - contribute to the life of their local Christian community.
