Alkionides UK supports low-income families from Cyprus undergoing medical treatment in UK hospitals. It provides free accommodation in north London, the Alkionides 'Nest'. We also have a dynamic team in Birmingham and the Midlands who similarly support patients sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We raise funds with the help of generous sponsors and by organising cultural events and social functions

We work with street children (or former street children) in order to improve their quality of life. We will engage in campaigns throughout the UK, South Africa and Mozambique to change the rights of street children and the way in which society perceives street children. This will be achieved through advocacy, marketing and consultation work with other NGOs/ governmental organisations.

The activities of the chapel include:- Providing Christian worship at various locations in England- Training people to provide pastoral care to members of the chapel- Support Healing Jesus Campaigns all over the world especially in Africa- Publishing and distribution of Christian books for the purposes of evangelism.- Supporting Christian evangelism and church planting around the world

The objects ofthe trust are to support Orthodox Jewish Educational Activities and other charitableactivities especially for the benefit of the poor and needy.

The Foundation will primarily make grants to existing charities. Priorities will be the arts, ASD, ADHD, Cancer, Children/Youth, Dementia, the environment, FASD, food poverty, homelessness, LGBTQIA, refugees, women's physical and mental health. The trust supports educational projects in the UK & abroad whether it is in terms of actual buildings, educational materials or paying for children's education. The trust seeks welfare projects to support via small charities with well targeted schemes.
