The organisation provides a high standard of accommodation, support, training and therapeutic services to vulnerable families. Tackling issues around education, employment, training, advice, guidance, support and health, the organisation intends to use the centre in a way that will not only generate money for the area and be self-sustainable but help address such issues.

ASET is the UK professional body for placement and employability staff at HE and FE institutions. It has been the catalyst for the development of guidelines and the dissemination of best practice in many areas. It also seeks to champion the general concept of work-based learning.
