Wokingham Lions Club exists to serve our local community and those in need in the wider world, through the Lions Clubs International Foundation, by providing support and financial assistance.

- Provision of training and workshops to performers- Management and delivery of information sharing network- Provision of support and networking events for performers- Education and performances to the public

We provide opportunities for individuals to learn more about their faith and engage in activities that will serve to benefit themselves and the community around them.

The organisation carries out its purposes through the provision of the following services/activities:-- encouraging the development of leisure activities within local communities;- providing football coaching workshops; and- providing educational/skill based workshops to help teach communication of the English language.

The provision or assistance in the provision of facilities to enable and encourage the playing of polo amongst children and young persons who are in full-time education at any school or university thereby assisting to ensure that due attention is given to the physical education and development of such persons as well as to the occupation and development of their minds.

KEYS operates a programme of integrated medical, spiritual and community support for individuals with alcohol and drug addiction. The programme is operated by teams comprising mostly of volunteers within churches. The team operates from a conviction that by this holistic approach, issues often at the root of addictions will be dealt with in such a way that relapse becomes much less likely.

We continue working towards the welfare and rights of people around the world. We try to achieve this by setting the following objectives:- 1. The advancement of Education. 2. The relief of poverty, distress and suffering. 3. The promotion and preservation of health to those who are in need in any part of the world.

We are a church who loves God, His people and endeavours to positively impact our community. We run weekly worship services, small groups and many other different activities aimed at blessing and reaching every member of our community.

Activities centre on promoting education, knowledge and research into the life and works of the poet Lord Byron and the history, literature, philosophy and culture associated with him. The society arranges regular lectures and seminars on these topics, sponsors associated conferences and cultural events and grants a PhD Bursary as a funding contribution to postgraduate academic research.

PROVISION OF PASTORAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY, TO REGULARLY PREACH AND TEACH THE WORD OF GOD AND ADMINISTER THE SACRAMENTS IN THE CONGREGATION. TO PLAN AND LEAD WORSHIP IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE OTHER PASTORS OF THE PARISH.. TO OFFICIATE AT SPECIAL SERVICES SUCH AS WEDDINGS, FUNERALS, NURSING HOME SERVICES, ETC.

We operate from the Highfield Centre, Wigan. We take a friendly and fun approach to learning. We use Early Years Curriculum to encourage children to learn through play and offer a wide range of activities, including arts/crafts, outdoor play, role play etc. We support parents access to local community and Social Services groups to help with their needs and those of their children.

Distribution of donations made to the Fund by member Lions Clubs of District 105SE; and other organisations, the General Public and donors to the foundation. The Foundation Raises funds to support Disaster Relief and to support projects which meet its objectives mainly in South-east England

Training - to encourage people in areas such as deepening their Christian faith to involvement with the projects we work with. Mercy Ministries - projects such as Food Banks, Drop-ins, Street Ministry, Community Projects/Centres and work with the Homeless, Refugees and Asylum Seekers. Evangelism - We are working to express Godly Love through our belief that everyone has value and purpose.

The MR Council promotes the mathematical education of people including children and adults who teach or support them. The main activities of the charity are training professionals in implementing the Maths Recovery Programme in their settings and local authorities, promoting research into children's mathematical thinking through conferences and professional development.

Provide any greyhound in need of care, ex racers or other, in the safe environment of the charity's kennels until re-homed, or in the case of any greyhound not suitable for rehoming to offer a permanent home within the charity's care for the rest of their natural life span.

We Are Family is a parent-led, peer-to-peer adoption support community, that promote the health and well-being of prospective adopters and adoptive parents mainly in the London area, and in particular the relief of the predictable stress, strain and sense of isolation. Our members meet regularly through core activities such as playgroups for under-fives, parent support groups or family outings.

Generate supports the mental health and wellbeing of trans, non-binary and gender questioning adults, building resilience and confidence and empowering them to live happier and more stable lives. We provide safe spaces where trans people can be themselves and are supported to explore what their gender identity means for them. Generate empowers individuals to live authentic and fulfilling lives.
