Social Workers Without Borders is a social work charity working for migration justice. We mobilise a network of social workers and social work students to practice in a way that is rights-based, upholding the inherent dignity, worth and humanity of every person. SWWB provide independent social work reports for people impacted by immigration policy.

The Charity Activities are:1 The Objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit2 to prevent or relieve poverty or financial hardship among members of the Sikh community throughout England and the Punjab area in India; Help the Orphanage in Kenya 3 to advance the Sikh religion throughout England in accordance with the statements of belief appearing in the Sikh scriptures

Religious Activiies

We provide aid to those in need,locally or abroad.Aid can be clothing, educational packs, medical aid and whatever we can to support someone through poverty or crisis.We help local families and the homeless with food and essentials.We run The Moses Basket project which provides a baby with a safe place to sleep and suitable clothing for their first months of their lives.

The relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in England and Wales through the provision of facilities to help people with Personality Disorders or c-PTSD diagnosis including those with an experience of Complex Trauma, or who are in the process of diagnosis, to recover and to sustain that recovery.

The advancement of the Christian faith for the public benefit in particular, but not exclusively, by providing and establishing a training and retreat centre in the area of Malling Abbey for the local community.

Fair Chance Foundation aims to advance the education of children and young adults. Primarily focused on fundamental research to help young adults into tertiary education and vocation. We also provide direct help to a select set of children and young adults, whom we have built long term pastoral care relationships with through various charitable projects.

The Charles Lewis Foundation particularly favours registered smaller charities (annual income of under £1,000,000 and no sizeable assets) located in the UK where funding is required for a specific project and where small grants can have a big impact. TCLF especially supports charities which make good use of volunteers. The trustees look to support ongoing and new projects.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE SIKH FAITH AND ITS PRACTICES IN THE UK & ABROAD BY ARRANGING LECTURES AND SEMINARS, CONFERENCES & EDUCATIONAL CAMPS. THESE TAKE PLACE AT UNIVERSITIES, GURUDWARAS, MULTI FAITH EVENTS.

We continue to support national & international humanitarian relief projects tackling poverty and social injustice. We support local (UK) & international communities through the provision of food banks & emergency aid, employment support for local women, assisting displaced refugees internationally continuing to advance our mission to build a better and fairer world for all.

The balance of the income to be applied for the benefit of all or any of the Orthopaedic Hospitals of England or other hospitals or charitable institutions carrying out similar work (preference should be given to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital of Great Portland Street, London).

We pursues the advancement of education and the relief of poverty for the people of Malawi. Activities include supporting the building of educational facilities such as classrooms, supporting bursaries to school and university students, supporting teacher training, supporting vocational training for school graduates and providing educational resources such as text books, science equipment.

The charity's purpose is to protect and promote the health of young people through the reduction of the incidence and severity of mental health illness, and to reduce the number of young people taking their own lives. The Trust will overhaul and operate the locomotive (71000 Duke of Gloucester) as closely as possible to its original condition, but accounting for modern demands. The overhaul of the locomotive has continued through the year. Tyseley Locomotive Works continues to employ an apprentice to focus on the locomotive.

Educational, Religious and Social Activities

The objectives of the charity are to provide education in Western and Indian classical music, dance, drama and fine arts in India, Britain and other parts of the world. The Trust raises funds to assist its sister trust, The Mathieson Music School in Kolkata, India. It provides teaching for children who are selected either because they are orphans or from the poorest of the poor.

AbleStay's mission is to provide fully accessible holiday accommodation in UK cities where there is currently no provision.

Sponsored events, collections, raffles, auctions, fetes and various other fundraising activities to support the work of the school, education of the children of the school and to foster a spirit of cooperation between the school, parents and the local community.
