The Group aims to educate citizens of the UK and Japan in all aspects of each other's public institutions and systems of government, and each other's political and economic institutions, industry, social sciences and culture. The Group holds an annual conference alternately in Britain and Japan, following which the co-Chairmen submit recommendations to the two Prime Ministers.

THE CHARITY HAS A PRIMARY MINISTRY IN GAY, LESBIAN, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER COMMUNITIES, PROVIDING THE SAFE ENVIRONMENT OF AN ACCEPTING CONGREGATION WHERE PEOPLE CAN FIND GOD'S SALVATION, PERSONAL SUPPORT, SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND GUIDANCE TOWARD HEALTH AND WHOLENESS. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH CELEBRATIVE WORSHIP SERVICES, SUPPORTIVE CARE GROUPS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, JUSTICE, ADVOCACY AND SOCIAL ACTION

Walkden Christian Centre is currently running a church within the Walkden Area, activities include the church itself and various community outreaches such as a youth project.

Our charity's current activities are: A Saturday supplementary school of classes in mother tongue and national curriculum in maths english and science for children aged 5-16. Sport activities for children on Saturday. Outings for children and their families during the holidays.

To us ethe income to award a Fellowship in clinical research in hospitals in the Metropolitan area of London. The research must concern diseases such as usually treated at a General Hospital, excluding tropical and rare diseases.

STRIDE FOUNDATION UK is an established charity working to provide counselling and advice to those who have the desire to recover, and those who are recovering from substance abuse and their families. STRIDE also provides access to information and education to improve understanding and public perception of the issues surrounding addiction.

The Club provides facilities for the local community to pursue the sport of target shooting. We run training courses for members new to the sport and for local young people to come to try the sport. We offer reduced rates/free membership to senior members. We also off the County Association the use of the Range for their competitions.
