Our projects aim to stimulate behavioural and attitudinal changes in disadvantaged children/young people 5 to 25 years old living in Islington at risk, vulnerable to negative peer pressure, NEET Activity: creative writing, drama, music, contemporary dance, street, creative cultural dance, drumming, informal counselling. Our classes run 1-2 days per week at St. Mary's Youth Centre in Islington.

Pojoba Uk assisted financially in putting up a special gate at the school's main entrance as part of projects lined up to mark the 50th annivesary of the school. This was financed through donations and money received during activities organised by the association. The project is now completed and we can proudly boast about it and hope to continue embarking on other similar projects in the future.

Bella Cora is a small (25 member) female upper voice choir who perform in concerts, at weddings and competitions, and a variety of events in London and Hertfordshire. Our repertoire is extensive and we perform a range of musical genres including but not limited to classical, folk, musical theatre, madrigals, spirituals, pop, modern classical and ballads.All include accompanied and acapella music.

The charity is not yet active but its aims are the relief of those in need by reason of their age, mental health, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage, to act as a resource for young people, and teaching or conducting of Gospel music.

Educational courses and positive activities for young people

The general objects of the Charity are to apply income from the Endowment Fund to charitable organisations providing support for activities which were of particular interest to the founder, particularly cancer relief and care.

The charity provides funding, resources and volunteers to improve the life chances of disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka. In particular the charity aims to provide technology and internet access and skills to the institutions looking after children and to the children themselves
