The charity built a swimming pool in 1976 on the comprehensive school campus, since that time the charity has been responsible for the operation of the pool in the provision of swimming facilities both for teaching and recreational purposes. The purposes of the church, as set out in the constitution are twofold:1) the advancement of the Christian faith, in accordance with the basis of faith, primarily, but not exclusively within Bridgend and the surrounding neighbourhood;2) such other charitable purposes, as shall, in the opinion of the managing trustees, further the work of the church.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in wales and its surrounding areas who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed (in particular members of the Congolese community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society.

The heart of our mission lies in addressing food insecurity in our community. We understand that there are individuals and families who struggle to access nutritious meals on a regular basis. Therefore, we have made it our goal to ensure that the meals prepared by our young trainees reach those who need them the most, through our unique street food & food hamper delivery service and food events.

Cardiff United Synagogue provides and maintains a place of public worship for the Jewish community within the Cardiff area. It also promotes the advancement of religious education by running educational classes for both adults and children.

Age appropriate and stimulating activities for those with dementia and respite for their families.

We are a steering group working together to launch a Law Centre for north Wales. The Centre will provide legal advice, assistance and representation to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it, and public legal education. It will employ lawyers and caseworkers to provide legal services directly to clients, and will aim to provide services under the legal aid scheme.
