Run pet foodbank sessions

The organisation provides grants to schools and other institutions in Wales who organise social and physical activities for students. Such grants would be provided where students come from underprivileged families and backgrounds and cannot afford participating in social and physical activities because they require financing.

We take part in concerts, where all proceeds are for charity. At christmas time we visit hospitals locally, and also the main hospital in the area, Nevil Hall, Abergavenny. We visit all the wards as possible.

RECONCILIATIONThe Fellowship of Reconciliation in Wales is part of an international spiritually-based movement which believes in the power of active non-violence as a way of life. We promote this vision through information, educational materials, activities and cultural exchanges. We promote our activities through a six-monthly newsletter and a stall on the National Eisteddfod field.

Blaenau Gwent Community Aid is a charity set up for the benefit of people within the County of the Unitary Authority Blaenau Gwent in Wales. The intention is to carry out various charitable purposes within Blaenau Gwent that relate to the relief of poverty and primarily has taken over a partnership with Trussell Trust to create Blaenau Gwent Foodbank which was the first Foodbank in Wales.

WE GIVE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS OR ORGANISATIONS TO PROVIDE OR PROMOTE WELSH-MEDIUM EDUCATION.

Advancement of the Christian faith to the general public by holding services and religious activities which are open to all. Also sending out religious leaflets and holding festivals

The Charities activities are to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities. An enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and law and guided by adult leadership.

Concerts to raise money for other charities, held in local churches and concert halls.

The provision of affordable accomodation to various organisations thoughout the year and rental to casual users, plus the annual Remebrance Day service in November

To educate the public in the arts and sciences, and in particular the arts and sciences of brass music. By presentation of public concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the committee shall determine.

To advance the education of the pupils of Llansantffraid School by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational & other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the L.E.A. The fund has serviced extra-curricular activities such as swimming, trips etc, which are not covered by the L.E.A. Budget.

YOUTH ORGANISATION, EDUCATION, VARIOUS COMPETITIONS, RAISING FUNDS OF CHARITIES, FUN EVENINGS, SOCIALISING

Our village community centre is available for numerous different activities. Health, sports, crafts, community groups, concerts, parties and community events.

We provide a building, and playing facilities, education and training arts and culture, and environment conservation and heritage projects for all young people including, disabled and ethnic minorities, with qualified staff, all of which takes place in a safe environment with health and safety at all times, and all checks made on all staff, and volunteers, which are required by law.

Formed 1987, this is an umbrella organisation embracing other cultural & sporting organisations. It promotes a village Festival in May each year, raising awareness and finances and works closely with the Community Council in all matters including the administration of our local Community Hall, Neighbourhood Watch and Police PACT.

To provide Canal boat trips and holidays for people with disabilities of all kinds.

To entertain and to promote and support music in the local area by giving people the chance to be a member of a male voice choir.

For 31 years the acknowledged charity for recognising and preserving the exceptional achievements over the course of their careers of Welsh sportsmen and sportswomen in any theatre of sport. The charity owns a large collection of significant memorabilia from Welsh sporting history. Each year at the Annual Dinner additions are made to the Roll of Honour, which now stands at 150 from 26 sports.

Glenside Community Association managersGlenside Community Hall, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran. We provide facilities for education, training and for community groups to use. We currently host a disability group for children and young people, we work in partnership with local services and groups to provide support for our community.

WE HELP OUR OWN LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO MEET PEOPLE FROM OTHER CULTURES AND BE ENRICHED BY THIS. WE SPEAK PUBLICLY AND RAISE FUNDS. WE APPROACH LOCAL ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO IMPROVE POLICY AND SUPPORT.WE PROVIDE SOME EXPERT ASSISTANCE AND COLLECT GOODS.
