Wrexham Community Gardeners renovate and maintain courtyards and other green spaces at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and other clinical locations in Wales to provide wellbeing and therapeutic gardens for the benefit of patients. The work is carried out by volunteers some of whom are patients, former patients and staff at the hospital.

The Welsh Ornithological Society was founded by Bird Clubs and Societies in Wales for the benefit of birds in Wales

Providing early learning opportunities for children 2.5 years to 4 years

Our mission is to walk hand in hand with families of terminally ill children or bereaved parents, Helping and supporting them on their journey. Giving families the opportunity to create lasting memories through holidays and experiences, away from the hospital environment. Also offer financial support to help families be their with each other without stress or worry. We operate in Wales.

The Charities activities are to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities. An enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and law and guided by adult leadership.

Our charity is under the umbrella of the Scouting movement. Our activities are varied reaching out to young people from ages 6 upwards. Examples: camping hiking sports cooking etc.

Coed Cymru is an all Wales initiative to promote the improved management of broadleaf woodlands and the use of locally grown timber in Wales. www.coedcymru.org.uk

Pre-School Playgroup

Formed 1987, this is an umbrella organisation embracing other cultural & sporting organisations. It promotes a village Festival in May each year, raising awareness and finances and works closely with the Community Council in all matters including the administration of our local Community Hall, Neighbourhood Watch and Police PACT.

To provide Canal boat trips and holidays for people with disabilities of all kinds.

Ty Golau Dementia Charitable Trust is a Cognitive Therapy session ,held once a week for 2 hours for people living with Dementia.It aims to stimulate memory through themes/music and memory games.It is run entirely by volunteers together with active roles that include Trustees

We aim provide a Village Hall within the community where each and every member of the surrounding area can socialise in a safe, comfortable and happy environment.

HBTSR HELPS PEOPLE SEEKING ASYLUM/REFUGE BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OUTINGS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE FOR LEISURE, FRIENDSHIP AND SKILL EXCHANGE. WE HELP OUR OWN LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO MEET PEOPLE FROM OTHER CULTURES AND BE ENRICHED BY THIS. WE SPEAK PUBLICLY AND RAISE FUNDS. WE APPROACH LOCAL ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO IMPROVE POLICY AND SUPPORT.WE PROVIDE SOME EXPERT ASSISTANCE AND COLLECT GOODS.

Scouting activities

1.Exhibit historical information and local cultural photographs,films and oral history which depicts the industrial development and multi-ethnic population of Cardiff2.Work in partnership with other organisations across Cardiff and more widely Wales to encourage inclusion of immigrants and migrants. 3.Develop and deliver educational programmes for schools and adult groups.

The physical, spiritual & mental capabilities of young people through the guidance of the Scout Ass of UK. The scout headquarters are available to non scout users.

THE GROUP IS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS AS INDIVIDUALS.THE METHOD OF ACHIEVING THIS IS DONE BY PROVIDING AN ENJOYABLE AND ATTRACTIVE SCHEME OF PROGRESSIVE TRAINING BASED ON THE SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW GUIDED BY ADULT LEADERSHIP.

North Wales Crusaders Foundation operates across North Wales. The foundation aims to provide people with high-quality sports, health and educational opportunities. The charity will achieve this by delivering engaging activities and community projects via a dedicated development team of staff and volunteers.

To educate the public in the Arts and Sciences, and in particular, the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

Running the Love Wales Mission Centre including the provision of Christian training, conferences and community events. Broadcasting, recording and live streaming of events and programmes. Meeting the needs of people through practical social action, support and care. Supporting volunteers and voluntary activities aimed at increasing skills and employment.

The Powis Exhibition Fund provides Exhibitions for the study of Theology. Awards are available to ordinands of the Church in Wales who are Welsh speaking.
