THE GROUP IS A UNIT OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION.THE AIM OF THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL INTELLECTUAL,SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS AS INDIVIDUALS.THE METHOD OF ACHIEVING THIS IS DONE BY PROVIDING AN ENJOYABLE AND ATTRACTIVE SCHEME OF PROGRESSIVE TRAINING BASED ON THE SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW GUIDED BY ADULT LEADERSHIP.

The Tongwynlais Temperence Band is a community music organisation. The band organises and participates in concerts, competitions and community events. The band provides music tuition and rehearsal space for other community groups.

To educate the public in the Arts and Sciences, and in particular, the art and science of music, by the presentation of concerts and other activities.

Provision and maintenance of Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of little Mill and surrounding area.

Running the Love Wales Mission Centre including the provision of Christian training, conferences and community events. Broadcasting, recording and live streaming of events and programmes. Meeting the needs of people through practical social action, support and care. Supporting volunteers and voluntary activities aimed at increasing skills and employment.

PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING WORKSHOPS AND ARRANGES SPORTS ACITIVIES FOR MEMBERS. ALSO TAKES PART IN SEVERAL CAMPAIGNS RUN BY THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S INSTITUTES.

A fellowship of men and women that share their experience, strength and hope to help each other recover from drug addiction. Members gather in meetings to share the 12 step process of recovery from addiction, and provide 1 to 1 support. There are no restrictions on membership other than a person having a desire to stop using Cocaine and all other mind altering substances.

We raise funds in various ways to support The Glynn Vivian Art Gallery Swansea in many areas such as Purchases and Art Education within the community.

The Powis Exhibition Fund provides Exhibitions for the study of Theology. Awards are available to ordinands of the Church in Wales who are Welsh speaking.

Pontymister Youth Club offers opportunities for young people to participate in a full and varied programme of social, educational, cultural and sporting activities.

Talking Hands operates as an national Wales charity and deliver activities with Deaf children, young people & their families and Deaf families includes Signs and Rhymes toddlers group, play group and youth club up to 25 years of ages.This includes regional activities, programmes of sessional and projects activities across Wales and building our provision with Children, Youth and families.

We are a local church with a vision to do good works in the community of Clydach and the surrounding areas. We believe that the word of God is relevant in our community and beyond. The church activities include the provision of a childrens work, an elderly persons work and various religious and community services for the community. We also support missions activities through the world.
