Annual memorial Award

To provide a venue for the benefit of the entire community, in order for them to fulfil their sporting,social and adult educational needs.

Sports support group for Cynwyd Football Club, Bowling Club, Tennis Club

The Charity continues to support development of field hockey in Wales thru' healthy recreation and helping disabled and those in financial difficulties.

We are part of Riding for the Disabled. We operate a group that caters for people with both physical and learning disabilities to give everyone the freedom to experience driving a horse drawn carriage.

Promoting religious education

The PTA hold activities to raise funds to enable the PTA to give grants to the school. These grants help to advance the education of pupils by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and experiences not normally provided by the local education authority.

The interest from the charity account is shared between the parish of Llanffinan and Llanffinan Church.

provision of a village hall

Promoting education of persons under 25 who are attending or have attended the school and who are in need of financial assistance. Providing Penglais Comprehensive School, Aberystwyth with special benefits not normally provided by the local education authority as may be agreed between the trustees and governors of the school.

Bowling

The Cwmgwili Miners' Welfare Committee meet every other month to arrange various activities to entertain the villagers in order to bring the community together and to raise money for the maintenance and improvement of the Village Hall. This year they have been raising money and received some Grants to establish a Miner's Memorial Garden on the village green, which will be an ongoing project.

To protect & maintain Plas Power Chapel as a place of worship by fundraising, donations and collections.

The main object of the Foundation is the promotion, in connection with the Church in Wales, of the religious and secular education of children and young people in the Province of Wales.

Patient support group for those involved in or suffering from dermatological conditions.Raising awareness of dermatological issues.Being a voice for dermatology patients at the Welsh Assembly Government and with health boards.

Provides a meeting place and shelter for members & to practice religious activities.

The Umbrella body for amateur theatre in Wales. DAW exists to increase opportunities for the people of Wales to participate in amateur theatre which is rewarding, fun and of a high standard. As well as stimulating amateur theatre for people of all ages & social groups, the organisation works to support, train, build skills & capacity within amateur theatre groups, companies and federations.
