Thurrock Rugby Club's charitable purpose is the promotion of rugby as a participation sport in the community and recreational and fitness activity more generally.

Provides support to enable disabled people to live independent lives by providing advice, support and advocacy. The Charity also manages employment support projects enabling disabled people to become more work ready.

Activities include Christian Worship teaching and discipling in Christian Principles, Values and Ethics; Social and Community Outreach reaching out to the needy in our community; Meeting spiritual and welfare needs of the members and those in our immediate area; Supporting estalished local, national and international charity bodies; Reaching out to the poor in the identified countries - Kenya, etc

Our music coaching programs are unique and robust, and includes group courses in schools, faith organisations, and short intensive classes for individuals. Templesprings works with people who want to access professional coaching services for personal development.

The promotion,conservation,protection and improvement of the physical and social environment of Little Belhus Country Park for the public benefit.The provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the life conditions for the inhabitants of the surrounding area of Little Belhus Country Park.

Relegious Activities, Mosque

We offer free counselling sessions via trainee counsellors to adults living in Essex who are experiencing suicidal thoughts. This can be offered face to face, over the phone or via Zoom. We are currently offering befriending and coaching via volunteers but this may finish in 2023 due to a lack of volunteers. We offer peer support coffee afternoons, currently in Thurrock, Southend and Maldon.

The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical,intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals,as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of training guided by adults.

To enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, advance their education in citizenship, in public questions both national and international, in music, drama and other cultural subjects, in all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare. It gives women the opportunity of working together and putting into those ideals for which is stands.

The promotion for the benefit of the public the protection, improvement and maintenance of the environment, primarily but not exclusively through the management and maintenance of the area known as Thurrock Thameside Nature Park in the unitary authority of Thurrock including the restored landfill site at Mucking and any additional land that is contiguous with this area.

DIAL provides a free, confidential information and advice service on all issues affecting disabled people to help them to improve their quality of life. We can help with benefit checks for Income Maximisation, benefit application form completion, appeals and information on equipment, holidays, leisure, community care, independent living, mobility, transport and any other problem they may have.

FOTS are a PTA run by volunteers to support and raise funds for Treetops School & College for children with special needs. We raise funds for specialist equipment, sensory toys, senior prom and much more. We do this by organising events such as Summer Fete, Xmas Bazaar, Race Night, Tribute Night, Parents Evening etc.

Religious services and care for the community of Corringham providing pastoral support daily worship and baptisms weddings and funerals to support where needed.

Provision of Housing and Support to 'Vulnerable Adults' in South East Essex.

The education and advancement in life of young people under the age of 25 years who are in need of assistance.

The objectives of the charity are to advance the education of the public in Essex by promoting literature, reading for pleasure and supporting and developing writers.The objectives are met, primarily, through an annual Essex Book Festival, which offers opportunities for local, national and international authors to discuss their works, writing workshops and competitions for budding authors.

We help older people predominantly living in care homes to enjoy the best possible quality of life through meaningful engagement with friends and neighbours (FaNs) in their surrounding community. Our FaNs initiatives include the Wishing Washing Line, Intergenerational Colchester Up, Young FaNs Club, FaNimals and Care Home Bake-Off.

INDEPENDENT ADVICE, SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR PLAY AND RECREATION IN THE COMMUNITY

The objective of the charity is that the funds are made available to benefit the patients and staff of Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, or for any other NHS organisation on behalf of whom the Trust administers funds.
