21 Plus is a charity which supports, nurtures and empowers children and young people with Downs Syndrome and their families.Our activities focus on building the communication skills of our children and young people, providing opportunities to develop friendships and independence and ensuring that families have the necessary information and support to ensure their child reaches their potential.

Gwent Parent Carer Network supports parent carers across the Gwent region of South Wales. We provide online support services through peer-to-peer mediated activities, face-to-face respite workshops and family activities and events throughout the year. We also work in partnership with other third sector and statutory organisations, signposting parent carers to their services.

Cylch Meithrin Abersychan offers sessional care and education through the medium of Welsh to children aged 2 - 4 years old. We also offer a wraparound service to local nursery placements, enabling parents to have childcare from 9am until 3pm.We are a Flying Start provider.We offer funded hours through the 30hour Childcare Offer.

We care for and educate pre-school age children in line with national curriculum.

Gwent YFC run competitions/events and charity fundraisers throughout the year. The organisation runs to support young people between 10 - 27 years of age. We offer support and guidance to all our members and help them gain the life skills they require. We operate in the area of Gwent where we have 6 clubs, our competitions then go onto Wales YFC and National Level.

Our aim will be to provide every child and family the opportunity to learn new experiences through the medium of Welsh offering them a sound foundation on their journey to a bilingual education and life. This will be achieved through various activities that promote children's physical, creative, personal and social skills as well as developing their numeracy and linguistic skills.

The playgroup operates in the Griffithstown area but is happy to cater for children from any area. We provide care for children aged two to five years, between the hours of 9.00 am to 3.00 pm. We offer morning sessions 9.00-11.30, afternoon sessions 12.30-3.00 and a lunch club session 11.30-12.30. We also provide a collection service for the lunch club, from Griffithstown Nursery .

The Charity runs a bookshop in Cwmbran town centre. As part of the operation, many of the customers also seek to share burdens and are prayed for: effective counselling.

The Foundation makes donations to local organisations and groups and will not consider applications to support an individuals activities. The Foundation is happy to receive applications from all walks of life.

Provision of Scouting for the children aged 6-14

Society Objectives:-1. To promote animals and plants of the countryside, objects of geological, historical and archaeological interest.2. To promote the formation of Nature Reserves and to assist in their supervision.3. To foster interest in Nature Conservation through public meetings, film shows, exhibitions, publication of books, our Annual Newsletter, leaflets and general communication.

Promote the performance of Welsh Male Voice Choir music.

Our charity provides free dance workshops and accredited CPD training, including specialised menopause and dance programs, for older people. We spend our resources to improve physical and mental wellbeing for disadvantaged communities in Wales.

We hold weekly church meetings offering spiritual and emotional support to those in need. The church services are available to all and no membership is required to take part. We provide a weekly foodbank service to the general public via the Trusstle Trust.We provide financial support to those in need inside and outside of the church as the trustees see fit.

The Scout Association provides spiritual, social, and physical development of the young people who belong.

To provide funding for new and existing Church in Wales schools in Monmouth diocese.

Providing Grants to individuals for land based couses who live in the area of receipt

Relief of Poverty, support for homeless people and reduction in homelessness, promotion of education and improvement of the lives of the people of Torfaen.

Working to provide a venue for local residents, clubs and organisations to run events, meetings and clubs.

The society promotes the advancement of the Christian Religion in the sphere of marriage and family life. The Church in Wales Diocese of Monmouth covers Newport City and parts of the other ares listed .The activities include regular branch meetings of members, religious worship and education, practical projects reaching out to the wider community at home and abroad.

Provides advice and information regarding medical/health/sickness and disability to people with disabilities/special needs and the elderly.Orders and sells VAT free aids for people with disabilities/special needs and the elderly.Offers a support service for other charities by displaying posters/leaflets, providing information and free office space for meetings.

The main activity of the charity is the staging of the Bedwellty Show, one of the oldest agricultural shows in the country, every year.
