Charities In Ukraine

The Charity raises awareness of the plight of those in Ukraine, and those who call Ukraine their home, and endeavours to gather humanitarian aid for free distribution to those in need.

The prevention or relief of poverty all around the world by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and / or charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Making grants to those training for Christian Ministry, teachers in theological education, theological institutions in the Majority world and those seeking to assist in the Majority world.

We are working in the UK church planting, spreading the Christian message and training people across different churches. We are currently supporting care programmes in Zambia, and providing emergency aid in Nepal. We are running a health centre and schools in Uganda. We also run a children's home in Malawi. In addition we work in a number of nations supporting the work of Churches.

The objects of the CIO are: for the public benefit in Wessex, any other part of the United Kingdom or elsewhere in the world, to relieve the poor and needy and to further such other purposes which are exclusively charitable under the laws of England and Wales as the trustees shall think fit, in particular but not exclusively by working with the members of the Rotary Clubs in the Rotary Internation

We completed 3 aid trips, taking 98,624 kilos to Ukraine. We sent £8663 for the treatment of sick children in Ukraine.

The activities of the Roundwood Trust are primarily related to Reformed Christian Churches overseas and in particular within Eastern Europe, with some exceptions.

The advancement of the Christian religion and to support other missions and congregations

The WHPCA works through the collaboration and partnership with its member organisations to:a) Improve access to, and the quality of, palliative care worldwide b) Build a worldwide network of international and national palliative care organisations c) Provide or facilitate education and training in palliative care d) Increase awareness and understanding of hospice and palliative care

The charity works to improve the delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries. To achieve this the charity: Supplies anaesthetic equipment that is suitable for use in developing world hospitals. Trains medical and technical staff in poor countries to safely deliver anaesthesia and keep anaesthetic equipment in working order. Supports research to improve delivery of anaesthesia in poor countries.

The spiritual support and welfare of members of the Christadelphian community, their children and anyone interested in their beliefs throughout the world by means of newsletters, Bible Studies, lessons for children, exhortations - all delivered by post or email.

The charity works to identify and donate to charitable causes around the world that provide children and young adults living in abject poverty with good education that leads to lifetime opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable to them

We support people from former Eastern European countries and beyond by partnering with small groups and organisations in the region. We offer resources (including fundraising) whilst encouraging people from the region to share skills and experiences into western society. We currently partner with 3 Christian schools, an arts festival, small business ventures and Christian counselling programmes.

We operate sustainable projects focusing on key areas such as education & health, relief work, provision of aid, and refugee assistance & support services. Funds support community development and aid projects. We are currently providing emergency assistance in Poland and Ukraine under Operation SafeDrop which assists in evacuations, aid delivery and providing refuge and visa support for refugees.

The Blackwood Engineering Trust was established in 2015 with the initial objective of helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged orphan children in UK, Belgium, China and India

NCCT engages in global projects with the aim of conservation, education, poverty relief, relief from natural disasters and wars. We fundraise to guests of Noble Caledonia tours, in areas where they travel. We seek out smaller projects, often in remote areas, that dont get a lot of exposure. Efficiency of fund spends is key, via close connection to ground operators and no or low admin costs.

Soroptimist International Foundation is a global organisation collecting appeal donations from 5 member Federations and the public. The Foundation makes grants to providers that educate, empower and enable women and girls. Projects and programmes are funded in countries where need has been identified to improve the lives of women and girls.

THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST ARE TO FURTHER THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORKS OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES IN UKRAINE WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE SPIRITUAL AND MATERIAL NEEDS OF THE POOR, THE SICK AND THOSE SUFFERING FROM OTHER FORMS OF SOCIAL DEPRIVATION, AND IN THE TRAINING OF MINISTERS AND OTHER CHURCH MEMBERS TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED.

UKRO is dedicated to advancing professional rescue focusing on five rescue areas including vehicle extrication; trauma management; rope rescue; urban search and rescue (USAR) and water rescue. Our aim is to develop, enhance and promote the rescue capabilities of firefighters to ultimately reduce unintentional injuries and deaths that can result from these types of incidents in the UK and abroad.

The provision of humanitarian aid for the relief of poverty and for the improvement of conditions of life. We obtain, transport and deliver aid directly to people who need it most, either directly or through known and trusted partners. If practical, we will respond to emergencies anywhere, but our focus has had to change from the Balkans to refugee crises in Europe, and currently Ukraine

The Charity supports research into HIV infection in resource limited countries. It provides financefor individual researchers to undertake research, or research training. The support is in theform of scholarships that are awarded by a competitive, peer-reviewed, process for definedprogrammes of work.

Climate Science LTD advances education by providing educational resources around solutions to climate change andsustainable development which are easy to read and nicely illustrated but based on and directly referenced to scientific papers.The courses and materials can be accessed via www.climate-science.com or smartphone apps or social media and we produce supplementary materials for teachers
