HSHH & WF is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of children, young people and families. We recruit and train volunteers who offer support, friendship and practical help to families under stress in their homes and online, helping prevent family crisis and breakdown. The training and experience the volunteers receive gives a basis for further education and work opportunities

To offer a supportive environment for young people parents/carers dealing with youth related issues, e.g. school exclusions and gang activity. Workshops as follows:Trading Places police young people, knife awareness, Bullying, Relationship, Baby me not, Consequences. Summer programs, Family support Health, Education, Employment, College,welfare, benefits, counselling, health, drug advice

Regular public worship open to all. Pastoral work includes visiting the sick & bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses & small groups. Taking of religious assemblies in schools. The provision of youth group with a Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events & meetings & the distribution of literature. Supporting other charities in the UK & abroad.

Waltham Forest Disability Resource Centre is a Limited company and charity set up in order to relieve disabled persons by the provision of services for them in order to help them reach their full potential.WFDRC is run by a management committee selected from its users and employs people who identify as having a disability.

Providing resources and facilities for public worship, pastoral care and spiritual, moral and intellectual development both for the congregation and for anyone else who wishes to benefit.This includes providing leaders and facilities for youth organisations and facilities for community groups.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF HIGH BEECH AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.

Activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to objectives include: 1.Seminars on the teachings of Buddhism, Confucius and the Great Tao to the public. 2.Prayer meetings and provision of vegetarian meals following the Chinese monthly calendar at every New and Full Moon. 3.Weekly study session on the teachings of Buddhism, Confucius and the Great Tao to the public.

The WWC provides advice, information, advocacy to African Portuguese Speaking refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. The principal activity is that of a charitable fund raising organisation offering services so that Chinese people can be taught Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
