We provide a number of activities to help build our local community. Social inclusion is key to our work in our efforts to build social cohesion. We work with families, youth , elderly the unemployed, the homeless individuals refugees and the BAME communities to effect changes in their situation. We work through one to one sessions and group session to ensure change is on going.

We reach out to women trapped in a lifestyle of prostitution/sexual exploitation at known places of activity at night, giving out hot drinks, gift bags, a listening ear, advising them of day drop-in. The drop-in is a safe haven where one to one support, programmes that help build self-esteem, advice on benefits, housing, debt, other services are given to help them rebuild a purposeful life.

Promotes Jainism which advocates non violence, goodwill towards all mankind, animal welfare and vegetarianism. Organises social, cultural and religious functions surrounding the aspects named above. Promotes physical activity and encourages special interest groups like women and youth to come together and network. Conducts religious discourses and prayers with emphasis on respect for the elderly.

Our charity provides free hot meals for disadvantaged and poor people in a warm environment, served by a team of friendly volunteers from a diverse community of faith and non-faith groups. The charity also provides food parcels, winter warm kits, sleeping bags and clothes during the colder months of the year. These services are currently provided in the Waltham Forest area, but we hope to expand.

The association benefits the inhabitants of the London Borough of Waltham Forest, to provide and assist in the provisions of facilities and resources for community groups and organisations at the William Morris Community Centre for educational, recreational and leisure time occupation of the said inhabitants in the interests of social welfare so their conditions of life may be improved.

We run a drop in service in Waltham Forest where migrants can come to socialize and can be given advice on immigration, welfare and housing issues, and any other help which they require and we can give.

The District is part of the Greater London North East Scout County which provides Scouting to young people in the London Boroughs north east of the river Thames.The District seeks to provide advice and support for Scout Groups and Explorer Scout Units in the Borough of Waltham Forest.

WWMS exists to relieve poverty among vulnerable migrants, including refugees, asylum seekers, migrant workers and their dependants living in the London Borough of Redbridge, neighbouring boroughs and Essex through the provision of advocacy, advice and support services. Our main focus is the provision of immigration advice. We also provide a general information and signposting service.

This is an active choir that fosters fellowship between members whilst developing their musical skills. We perform several choral concerts throughout the year, supported by regular rehearsals and occasional workshops. Small groups may be available to perform at private functions in return for a donation to Choir funds.
